Eve was the first woman that God created. God created her from a rib that he took from Adam's side. She was tricked by satan, who's spirit entered into a snake in the Garden of Eden. The snake told Eve that if she ate the fruit from the tree that God told her not to eat from, that she would be like God and know everything. He lied. She ate from the tree and gave the fruit to Adam to eat, too. Because Eve disobeyed God, women will have a lot of pain when they have babies and the husband will always rule over the wife.
