Gideon

The Lord told Gideon that he would save Israel from the Midianites who ruled them for 7 years. There were so many Midianites, they were like grasshoppers to count. Gideon and only 300 men fought against them for Israel. Gideon gave each of his men a trumpet, and when he blew his trumpet, the others did too, and they shouted, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!” When the Midianites heard this, they all ran away and Israel took over the land of Midian.
