Joash was the youngest king in the Bible. He was 7 years old when he began to rule in Judah. When Joash’s grandmother Athaliah heard that her son Ahaziah (Joash’s Dad) was killed, she killed all Ahaziah’s children, but Joash’s Aunt stole Joash and hid him in the house of the Lord for 6 years while Athaliah ruled in Judah. The priest Jehoiada, brought forth Joash and made him king when he was 7, and Athaliah was killed. Joash ruled for 40 years in Judah.
