Job was a very good man that loved God. He had 7 sons and 3 daughters and was very rich. Satan wanted God to test Job to see that if everything was taken away from him, if he would still be good or if he would curse (say bad things about) God. So God let satan take everything away from Job, except his wife and his life. Job's friends tried to tell Job that he must have done something bad to be punished so badly. His wife even told him to go ahead and curse God and die because he was so miserable. But Job was as patient as could be and did not curse God, but he didn't understand why all of this happened to him. In the end, God explained that nobody can begin to understand the wonder of God, and He blessed Job with 7 more sons, 3 more daughters, twice as many riches as he had before, and a long life. Sometimes things that happen are just a test of our faith in God.
