Judas Iscariot

Judas was one of Jesus' twelve apostles. He "held the purse" or the bag for the apostles. That means that he was in charge of their money and paid for things. He was also a thief. That means he stole money from the bag. The people wanted to kill Jesus, because He said He was the Son of God, and they didn't believe Him. So satan got into Judas Iscariot and Judas made a deal with the chief priests and captains of the Jews, that for 30 pieces of silver, he would take them to Jesus. Later, Judas hanged himself when he realized what a bad thing he had done, and that Jesus really was who He said He was.
