GOD'S GRACE
CHRISTIANITY OASIS HAS PROVIDED YOU WITH THIS GOD'S GRACE STUDY. MOST HAVE HEARD OF GOD'S GRACE BUT ARE NOT AWARE OF THE IMPACT THAT GOD'S GRACE MAKES IN OUR LIVES EVEN TODAY. LET US SEEK AND FIND THE TRUTH OF GOD'S GRACE TOGETHER, SHALL WE?

LAW   VERSUS   GOD'S GRACE

Now that we have seen that the Bible proves that Jesus IS the Lord ... Let us look into the Grace, that God offers. You may have considered becoming a Christian, in the past, and for one reason or another, decided against it. I have been told by many of those I encounter that some Christians and even some Christian leaders, make it very hard for those who would become Christians to do so  Matthew 23:13  because they elect to preach LAW to the potential Christian, instead of God's Grace by saying such things as "If you have done this or that, you will be damned."

For example ... If a potential Christian ever divorced their spouse, stole, abused drugs, had sex out of marriage, or anything else one can think of ... It somehow makes these "holier than thou" teachers of law feel they have the right to find the potential Christian unworthy of God's Grace and to pass judgment, causing the potential Christian to walk away and never consider becoming a Christian again. They even condemn these potential Christians for drinking. Tsk Tsk ... Jesus drank  Matthew 11:19  and will drink again in Heaven  Luke 22:18  It is excess of drinking and one's reactions from being intoxicated that can end up becoming sin.

It is also known by God that many Christians and even some Churches, judge others by the clothes they wear, which side of town they live on, the color of their skin, etc ... It is very sad that these people, who consider themselves better than another of God's children, even though they were forgiven of their sins of the past and received God's Grace, would find it necessary to judge another in some vain attempt to appear "holier than thou"...

My friend ... If this has ever happened to you, do not let it prevent you from receiving God's Grace which is FREE to EVERYONE ... When you believe in Jesus, God forgives your past sins ... PERIOD.

THIS REMINDS ME OF A STORY

There was a man, that we will call Mr. Smith, who was sitting in Church with his wife. He had just dozed off, during the pastor's sermon, when he awoke to the sound of the collection plate coming around. He watched as the people next to him put in what they could afford, which was very little. When the collection plate reached him, he cleared his throat very loud, as to gain the attention of those around him, and put a hundred dollar bill into the collection plate. When Church was over, he was edging his way through the crowd towards the front door and saw a statue of Jesus. He thought to himself, "he needs a haircut and a shave" ...

On the way to his favorite brunch restaurant, he was coming upon a stoplight and saw one of THOSE people. You know, the ones with a sign that says "will work for food" ... This guy had long hair, a beard and very dirty, worn out clothing. As he came to a stop, Mr. Smith rolled up the electric windows in his Cadillac and turned his head away from the poor looking man who was now just outside his window, with his hand stretched out towards Mr. Smith. After what seemed like forever, to Mr. Smith, the stoplight turned green and before Mr. Smith pulled off, He rolled down the window and yelled out, "Hey, ya bum ... get a job" and then sped off laughing.

A few years later, Mr. Smith died of cancer and ended up at God's Judgment seat. Jesus asked Mr. Smith why it was that he thought he was worthy to get into Heaven. Mr. Smith said proudly that he donated a hundred dollars every time his wife could drag him to Church. Jesus asked if that was the only reason and Mr. Smith said, "Yes, of course, I paid for my way in" ...

Jesus looked at Mr. Smith and said ... You failed to have compassion and love for your fellow man, when the opportunity arose. You are greedy and selfish and are not worthy to enter Heaven. Mr. Smith, convicted by Jesus' words, turned and started walking away with his head hung low. Then Jesus said ... And, by the way Mr. Smith ... I am no bum and I DO have a JOB.

What you do unto the least of my brethren, you do unto Me ...  Matthew 25:40

Never forget to be kind to strangers, it could be an angel testing you ...  Hebrews 13:2

So, If you are one of the "greater than thou" teachers of LAW or elect to judge the lost, which are potential Christians ... Beware ... Lest you find yourself being judged, as you have judged, and losing God's Grace !!!  Matthew 18:23-35

THE TRUTH ABOUT GRACE

I will reveal to you the truth of God's Grace today, and the truth is this ...  God sacrificed His only Son to get His children into Heaven. Think about that for a second ... God sacrificed His ONLY SON to get YOU into Heaven  John 3:16  Now, tell me ... Do you think for a moment that He is sitting up there saying, "come on child, make a mistake so I can put you in Hell" ... After He let His son die a painful death to get His children into Heaven? I think not !!!

But, why did God CHOOSE to sacrifice His Son? It is very simple. Because mankind had done so much bad that all the sacrificing in the world would not cleanse away the sin. See, long ago, sacrifices were needed to cleanse the sins that mankind committed against God. Now, Jesus is the sacrifice ... Believing in Him, cleanses away OUR past sins. God loved us so much that even knowing, the only sacrifice that would suffice was His own Son, decided to do it anyway ... To save His children. Check out the New Testament and in particular the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and read all about Jesus and decide for yourself if He is worthy of your belief and trust. 

There is only one thing that you have to do to get into Heaven ...
Believe in Jesus  John 6:28-29

BY NO MEANS IS GOD'S GRACE A
"GET OUT OF HELL FREE" CARD.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS
AFTER YOU ARE SAVED. FOR IF YOU DO RETURN TO YOUR OLD WAYS, YOU CRUCIFY JESUS AFRESH.  Hebrews 6:4-6

But, God knows that if you TRULY believe in Jesus, you would know that He loves you so much, that He was willing to die for you, and did. You will want to do what He wants you to do, because you would know that He is looking out for your best interests.
You will begin to make the right choices, out of love ... Not fear of punishment.

Now I ask you ... What do you have to lose by just believing in Jesus? It sounds like a tiny investment for great returns. Some people ask, but what if all this is just a bunch of superstition or fairy tales. I ask you this ... What if it is not? Be wise ... CHOOSE JESUS
He is the best life insurance policy, money can't buy.

Many have stopped believing in God, because something really bad happened, like they lose a friend or family member to divorce or death. They decide to blame God or say, if there is a God, why would He allow this to happen. I want you to know that I TRULY feel your pain, for I have lost that which was most dear to me, but I also know this ... Christians encounter tribulation and trials just like everybody else, and to stop believing in God, will not explain away the loss. Sometimes these things are allowed to happen for a reason, that we do not understand  Isaiah 57:1-2  Reasons that we cannot even fathom. Nine times out of ten, it was caused by negligence or a decision made on mankind's part. Understand this truth ... Mankind gets to make decisions that will affect each and every one of us. God allows mankind to make their own decisions because he does not want puppets, He allows us free will. The other one out of ten is what I call the test or trial factor. (See the book of Job) I have no idea why God allows certain things to happen, but regardless of why, it is His Will and we will know why it was allowed to happen ... When it is time.

I will now reveal a SECRET. Christians have a secret weapon. It is called the ... Holy Spirit. He is a gift from God, left here to comfort us  John 16:7
He is God's Spirit and He can speak to you, if you will listen  Hebrews 3:7 
He helped the Apostles during their tribulations and will help you during yours.  John 14:16-21   John 14:26 ... John 15:26-27 ... John 16:13-14

He is waiting to help you face the trials and tribulations that come upon every man, woman and child on Earth.

HE IS HERE FOR YOU !!!

It all comes down to a choice. The choice is yours. Nobody can make it for you. You can either choose to Believe In Jesus, who gave His life on the cross for you, and live FOREVER in Heaven, or you can deny this truth and live through 7 years of Hell on Earth, then go to Hell for 1000 years and then be cast into the lake of Fire ... FOREVER.

I want you to think about something. I have no Church for you to join, I do not want you to send me donations, I will gain no fame by your decision to make the right choice, I most likely do not even know you and never will, at least on Earth. And yet, I take the time and effort to create these websites for you to consider and ponder on. There is a simple reason for this ... It is the TRUTH.

I ... like those before me, am but a fisherman. I catch them and God cleans them.
