Greetings and welcome to Living Real.

The intent of this website is to be REAL with you about my Christian walk. I am going to attempt to share some things that have happened in my life, in hopes that it will help other Christians that are experiencing some of the same things.

Taking advantage of God is what I did. I knew that HE loved me and gave His Son for me; however, I was not willing to surrender my will to His. As I grew older, the effect of sin in my life became a product of misery and pain. I used God as a spare tire, only needing Him when I had a flat tire. Only until I let Him take over the steering wheel, did my life become more complete and full.

I really thought I was smart, could figure life out and become happy one day. I was wrong. I lived in the wilderness of life and frankly took all I could stand mentally, spiritually, and physically. The worldly opportunities I was presented with and sometimes accepted as REAL did not make me happy or complete.

The chastisement of the Lord became so great that I turned to Him and humbled myself to His direction for my life. There is a spiritual battle and now I see how deceiving Satan can be.
