Who is the Woman in Revelation 12 Mystery
Great to have you back as we continue our journey into the Truth of the End Times. Make sure you check the Scripture that is being shared in the Woman and the Dragon study as to confirm the Truth.
We have come to the last of the three possible Left Behind scenarios that could happen to Christians during the End Times. This scenario concerns the groups of Christians that the Bible clearly reveals will be hidden during the 3½ year time period known as the Great Tribulation. You may be one of these which are hidden in the wilderness during the Great Tribulation known as the woman in the wilderness in the book of Revelation.
We learned earlier in our study that the first Rapture takes place between the 6th and 7th Seals, but there are other events also that will take place at the same time. This is a very important factor to be aware of for those Christians who are left behind.
Here are just a few of the events that take place at the same time as the first Rapture.
21 For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not
since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should
no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ,
or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if
it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in
the desert; go not forth: behold, He is in the secret chambers;
believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and
shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of
man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles
be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall
the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the
stars shall fall from Heaven, and the powers of the Heavens shall be
shaken:

The Great Tribulation Begins ... Worse than the world has ever seen. There is a great earthquake, the sun turns black, the moon turns as blood, the stars of Heaven fall to earth, Heaven departs, and every mountain and island are moved out of their places.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies,
then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the
mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and
let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things
which are written may be fulfilled.
Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon,
and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking
after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of
Heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in
a cloud with power and great glory [Rapture].
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
When you recognize these things happening, Jesus says, it is time to go into hiding.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the Holy place,
(whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the
mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take
any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to
take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that
give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the Sabbath day:
21 For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not
since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
The Woman and the Dragon Entities
The Woman in Revelation 12 Prophecy
This next aspect is a very important message that Jesus has shared.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also
in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were
given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the
ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did
eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it
rained fire and brimstone from Heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man
is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and
his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he
that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it;
and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
This is very important !!!
In the same day that the Great Tribulation begins, some of the Christians are Raptured and other Christians are hidden in the wilderness. If you are left behind, you need to be aware of these spiritual event timeline landmarks.
Time for the Woman and the Dragon field trip ... Let's discuss this "abomination of desolation" that Jesus spoke of, which will be set up in Israel. The meaning of "abomination of desolation" is something that is disgusting and detestable, which causes ruin. This is a description of what antichrist will set up.

Antichrist is given power, authority and reign from Satan and is followed by the false prophet. He will have made a 7 year False Peace Treaty with Israel, which will be the beginning of the 7 years of the End Times. In the middle of the 7 years, (3½ years) he will break the covenant and begin his 3½ years reign of terror. He will take away the daily sacrifice and set himself up in the Temple of God (in Israel) claiming he is God.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [7 years] and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 12:11
And from the time that the daily sacrifice [burnt offerings] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall
not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin
be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is
called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in
the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

When you see these events ... This is the halfway point of the End Times, and there are 3½ years to go. In the Jewish year, there are 360 days, which makes 3½ years 1,260 days. We'll discuss why the Angel told Daniel there would be 1,290 days a little later in our study. Keep your eyes open for these things happening, because you need to know when it's time to go into hiding.
Don't become immune to hearing about Israel in the news. Pay attention. Watch for the signs. Many people wonder, Why would God leave His beloved people on earth to endure the Great Tribulation?
The Woman and the Dragon Point of Interest ... If you look at this from a different point of view, you'll understand. Some of God's chosen people were left on Earth to endure the Great Flood as to replenish the Earth just as it will be during the End Times as the Bible clearly reveals.
That doesn't mean that those who are Raptured are not chosen, or less chosen than those who remain, it simply means that different people have different callings and administrations. Being a Christian and being left behind is a time of purification (refining, brought through fire) of the soul for some, but for others, it is not a punishment, or a time of cleansing, but a time of service. It may even be a time of blessing for some who understand.
Didn't we read earlier that whoever seeks to save his life, shall lose it?
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
If you are a person who God believes would serve Him better here on Earth rather than as an Angel, He makes the call, not us.
Incidentally, Noah and his family were protected during the 40 days and 40 nights of the Great Flood, and throughout the entire year that they were on the ark, until it was safe to come out, just as God's chosen of the End Times will be protected during the Great Tribulation.

Just relax now, because I know many of you are sensitive about this subject, and when someone suggests that you may not be taken in a Rapture, your feathers get all ruffled.
Again ...
We don't get to choose if we are in this biblical Rapture or not. Only God is the judge of that. So, again I want to stress that this study is not saying you will not be in the Rapture. This study is simply sharing that which the Bible reveals and that is, that not all Christians will be in a Rapture.
Consider it like this ... Most purchase life insurance for the body. They pay premiums on something that may never even occur. Consider this preparation as your eternal life insurance policy for the soul where you prepare for the 'just in case.' If not for you ... For those who will be left behind.
Perhaps all that is needed to change our attitude about staying on Earth during and maybe even after the End Times is a different perspective. A little later on in our study, you will find that there are some pretty remarkable things in store for those who are left behind, so cheer up!
Even if you are one chosen to be left behind to reach and teach, you are in for a pleasant surprise. God will hide and protect His children:
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the
earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great
eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where
she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time [3½
years], from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood
after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the
flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened
her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of
his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to
make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of
God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ [Christians].

Here's an interesting thing to consider. You may interpret John's description of "two wings of a great eagle" as a figure of speech, but nothing is impossible for God, so we may just see people with wings, flying into the wilderness when the time comes. Is that awesome, or what? If John was indeed using a figure of speech, you can bet that the method by which 'the woman' arrives in the wilderness will be remarkable. Who knows, many people, who are chosen to stay, but haven't the capability to walk very far, may be healed, or their youth may be restored, or they may just wake up in the cave of a mountain that day ... We can't put limits on God's power just because our imaginations are limited.
If you are chosen to stay on earth after the first Rapture, for whatever reasons God sees fit ... Things will be more than a little bit strange just as it was for Noah and his family. Many people who don't understand, will be grieving because their loved ones have been taken in the Rapture, and it's likely that many disasters will occur as a result of this event.
I mean think about it ... If the Lord takes millions of Christians to Heaven all at the same time, from wherever they happen to be, and no matter what they're doing, there may be automobile accidents, interruption of electricity, phone service, utilities, computers, etc., because many who provide these services will be ... gone! There's sure to be looting or riots when this happens, and you'll be surprised at how many people won't know what in the world is going on.
At this point in the End Times, between the 6th and 7th Seals, just after the first Rapture, if you haven't been taken to heaven, or died in the name of Christ, this is the time you will begin hiding in the wilderness ...
Because you have been Left Behind.
