The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy
1. Begin with the sign of the
Cross, 1. Our Father, 1. Hail Mary and the Apostles Creed.
2. Then on the Our Father beads
say the following:
Eternal Father, I offer you the
body and blood, soul and divinity of your dearly beloved son, our Lord Jesus
Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
3. On the 10 Hail Mary beads say
the following:
for the sake of his sorrowful
passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
(repeat step 2 and 3 for all five
decades).
4. Conclude with (three times):
Holy God, holy mighty one, holy
immortal one, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
In 1933, God gave Sister Faustina
a striking vision of his mercy, sister tells us:
"I saw a great light, with god
the father in the midst of it.
between this light and the earth
I saw Jesus nailed to the cross
and in such a way that god,
wanting to look upon the earth, had to
look through our lord's wounds
and I understood that god blessed
the earth for the sake of Jesus."
Of another vision on Sept. 13,
1935, she writes:
"I saw an Angel, the executor of
God's wrath... about to strike
the earth...I began to beg god
earnestly for the world with words
which I heard interiorly. as I
prayed in this way, I saw the
angel's helplessness, and he
could not carry out the just
punishment..."
The following day an inner voice
taught her to say this prayer on
ordinary rosary beads:
"First say one 'Our Father',
'Hail Mary', and 'I believe'. then on
the large beads say the following
words:
'Eternal Father, I offer you the
body and blood, soul and divinity
of your dearly beloved son, our
lord Jesus Christ, in atonement
for our sins and those of the
whole world.'
On the smaller beads you are to
say the following words:
'For the sake of his sorrowful
passion have mercy on us and on the
whole world.'
In conclusion you are to say
these words three times:
'Holy God, holy mighty one, holy
immortal one, have mercy on us
and on the whole world'.
Jesus said later to Sister
Faustina:
"Say unceasingly this chaplet
that I have taught you. anyone who
says it will receive great mercy
at the hour of death. priests
will recommend it to sinners as
the last hope. even the most
hardened sinner, if he recites
this chaplet even once, will
receive grace from my infinite
mercy. I want the whole world to
know my infinite mercy. I want to
give unimaginable graces to
those who trust in my mercy...."
"....When they say this chaplet
in the presence of the dying, I
will stand between my father and
the dying person not as the just
judge but as the merciful
Saviour".
Powerful Tip:
REMEMBER TO PRAY THE DIVINE MERCY
CHAPLET AT 3 O' CLOCK, EVERYDAY!!!!!!!

inscrutable designs,
dost effect all things in a

good for the salvation of the
elect,
Have mercy on us.
In all things and in all possible
events,
Thy Holy Will be done, O my God.
In all circumstances and
disgraces,
Thy Holy Will be done, O my God.

In my body and soul,
In my life and death,
In myself and in those who belong
to me,
In all men and angels,
In all creatures,
In all parts of the earth,
At all times,
For all eternity,
Although weak nature complains,
Although it costs much to
self-love and sensuality,
Solely and only through love for
Thee and Thy good pleasure,
Because Thou art my Creator ,
Because Thou art the Supreme Lord
of all things,
Because Thou art infinite
perfection, therefore do I say,
with all the Saints in Heaven,
With the Blessed Virgin Mary,
Thy Holy Will be done, O my God.
With Jesus in the Garden of
Olives,
Thy Holy Will be done, O my God.
Our Father [silently].
V. May the just, most amiable
will of God be done in all things.
R. May it be praised and
magnified forever! Amen.
Let us pray.
Grant me Thy grace, O Father,
that perfect resignation to Thy Holy Will may be with me, and labour with me,
and continue with me to the end. Grant me always to desire and will that which
is most acceptable to Thee and which pleaseth Thee best. Let Thy will be mine,
and let my will always follow Thine and agree perfectly with it. Let me always
will and not will the same with Thee; let me not be able to will or not will
anything except what Thou willest or willest not.
R. Amen.

Providence,
From too great trust in riches
and the favour of men,
From immoderate concern for
temporal things,
From misuse or neglect of Thy
gifts and benefits,
From ingratitude toward Thy
loving kindness,
From uncharitableness toward our
neighbour
From obduracy in sin,
From all dangers of body and
soul,
From Thy well-merited
chastisements,
From earthquake, pestilence,
famine and distress,
From disease, hunger and war ,
From a wicked and unprovided
death,
On the day of judgment,
We sinners
Beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may always trust in Thy
Divine Providence,
We beseech Thee, hear us.
That in good fortune we may not
become proud and godless,
We beseech Thee, hear us.
That in misfortune we may not
become discouraged and impatient, etc.
That we may submit simply to all
Thy decrees,
That we may praise Thy name
whether Thou givest or takest away,
That Thy will may be done on
earth as it is in Heaven,
That we may seek consolation from
Thee in time of trial,
That Thou mayest give us what is
necessary for the support of our life,
That in all adversities we may
grow in patience and humility,
That Thou mayest accompany all
our labors with Thy blessing,
That Thou mayest reward our
temporal sufferings with eternal joys,
That Thou mayest fill our
spiritual and civil rulers with the spirit of truth and the fear of God,
That Thou mayest pity all who
suffer want,
That Thou mayest console and
raise up all the abandoned and oppressed,
That Thou mayest reward our
benefactors with eternal goods,
That we may praise and glorify
Thy Divine Providence now and forever,

Sacred Heart of Jesus
In 1899 Pope Leo XIII approved
this Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for public use. This litany is actually
a synthesis of several other litanies dating back to the 17th century. Father
Croiset composed a litany in 1691 from which 17 invocations were used by
Venerable Anne Madeleine Remuzat when she composed her litany in 1718 at
Marseille. She joined an additional 10 invocations to those of Father Croiset,
for a total of 27 invocations. Six more invocations written by Sister Madeleine
Joly of Dijon in 1686 were added by the Sacred Congregation for Rites when it
was approved for public use in 1899. This makes a total of 33 invocations, one
for each year of life of our Lord Jesus Christ. A partial indulgence is attached
to this litany.

Jesus Christ, Priest and Victim
For Private Recitation Only.
This litany is one that the Holy
Father, Pope John Paul II, has prayed many times.
To say it often and with devotion
fosters a deep reverence for the Priesthood of Jesus Christ.
At the same time this prayer
keeps us mindful of the Divine Victim who offered himself for us on
Calvary and continues to do so at
every Mass. That God would strengthen all priests
and grant an increase in priestly
vocations let us pray:

of Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922)
during World War I.
V. The Lord give you peace;
R. Peace and good will.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who didst
say to Thy Apostles, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you," look
not upon my sins, but upon the faith of Thy Church, and vouchsafe to her that
peace and unity which is agreeable to Thy will, Who livest and reignest, God
forever and ever. R. Amen.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy. Jesus hear us.
Jesus, graciously hear us.
By the hymn of the Angels at Thy
birth,
Grant us peace.
By Thy salutation to the
Apostles,
Grant us peace.
By Thy voice to the waves of
Galilee, etc.
By Thy blessing to the sinner,
By Thy prayers for unity among
Thy disciples,
By the love that was to mark Thy
followers,
By the great peace offering of
the Cross,
By Thy parting promise, "My peace
I leave you,"
From the ambition of empire,
Deliver us, O Lord.
From the greed for territory,
Deliver us, O Lord.
From the blindness that is
injustice, etc.
From the selfishness that is
theft,
From the liberty which is
license,

idolatry,
From the hate that is murder,

pardon,

We beseech Thee, hear us.
By the groans of the dying, etc.
By the dead in unblessed graves,
That Thou wouldst make all
nations to dwell as one,

as wax in Thy hands,
That having learned in
affliction, we may turn to Thee,
That wars may cease from the
earth,
By Thy title, "Prince of Peace,"
Lord God of Armies,
Lamb of God, Who takest away the
sins of the world, Grant us peace.

sins of the world, Grant us peace.

V. I am the Salvation of the
people, saith the Lord;
R. In whatever tribulation they
shall cry to Me, I will hear them.
Let us pray.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart,
teach us, who have sinned against Heaven and before Thee, the saving grace of a
true humility, that we and all the peoples of this world may acknowledge and
bewail that spirit of materialism and self-seeking and lust for power and
vengeance which has plunged the family of nations into war, until in Thy just
wrath the world suffers that punishment which, by turning from Thee, it has
brought upon itself. In humility and penance, may we lessen the guilt and hasten
true peace, without victory, save the victory of union with Thee. R. Amen.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have
mercy on us.

V. Let there be peace in Thy
strength, O Lord,
R. And plenty in Thy strong
places.
Let us pray.
O God, from Whom proceed all holy
desires, all right counsels and all just works, grant unto us Thy servants that
peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts may be devoted to Thy
service, and that being delivered from the fear of our enemies, we may pass our
time in peace under Thy protection, through Christ Our Lord.
R. Amen.
Immaculate Queen of Peace, Pray
for us.

salvation of sinners,
Have mercy on us.
Sacred Host, annihilated on the
altar for us and by us,
Have mercy on us.
Sacred Host, despised by lukewarm
Christians, etc.
Sacred Host, mark of
contradiction,
Sacred Host, delivered over to
Jews and heretics,
Sacred Host, insulted by
blasphemers,
Sacred Host, Bread of angels,
given to animals,
Sacred Host, flung into the mud
and trampled underfoot,
Sacred Host, dishonoured by
unfaithful priests,
Sacred Host, forgotten and
abandoned in Thy churches,
Be merciful unto us,
Pardon us, O Lord.
Be merciful unto us,
Hear us, O Lord.
For the outrageous contempt of
this most wonderful Sacrament,
We offer Thee our reparation.
For Thine extreme humiliation in
Thine admirable Sacrament,
We offer Thee our reparation.
For all unworthy Communions, etc.
For the irreverences of wicked
Christians,
For the profanation of Thy
sanctuaries,
For the holy ciboriums
dishonoured and carried away by force,
For the continual blasphemies of
impious men,
For the obduracy and treachery of
heretics,
For the unworthy conversations
carried on in Thy holy temples,
For the profaners of Thy churches
which they have
desecrated by their sacrileges,
That it may please Thee to
increase in all Christians
the reverence due to this
adorable Mystery,
we beseech Thee, hear us.
That it may please Thee to
manifest the Sacrament
of Thy Love to heretics,
we beseech Thee, hear us.
That it may please Thee to grant
us the grace to atone for their hatred by our burning love for Thee, etc.
That it may please Thee that the
insults of those who outrage
Thee may rather be directed
against ourselves,
That it may please Thee
graciously to receive this our humble reparation,
That it may please Thee to make
our adoration acceptable to Thee,
Pure Host, hear our prayer.
Holy Host, hear our prayer.
Immaculate Host, hear our prayer.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the
sins of the world,
Spare us, O Lord.

sins of the world,
Graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the
sins of the world,
Have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, have mercy on us.
V. See, O Lord, our affliction,
R. And give glory to Thy Holy
Name.
Let us pray.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who dost
deign to remain with us in
Thy wonderful Sacrament to the
end of the world, in order to
give to Thy Father, by the memory
of Thy Passion, eternal glory,
and to give to us the Bread of
life everlasting: Grant
us the grace to mourn, with a
heart full of sorrow, over the
injuries which Thou hast received
in this adorable Mystery,
and over the many sacrileges
which are committed by the impious,
by heretics and by bad Catholics.
Inflame us with an ardent zeal to
repair all these insults to which,
in Thine infinite mercy, Thou
hast preferred to expose Thyself
rather than deprive us of Thy
Presence on our altars, Who with God
the Father and the Holy Spirit
livest and reignest one God,
world without end.
R. Amen.

In Honour of The True Cross
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.
God, the Father of Heaven,
have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the
world,
have mercy on us.
God, the Holy Spirit,
have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, One God,
have mercy on us.
The word of the Cross is folly to
those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it
is the power of God.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
Jesus has many who love His
Kingdom in Heaven, but few who bear His Cross.
He has many who desire comfort,
but few who desire suffering.
He finds many to share His feast,
but few His fasting.
All desire to rejoice with Him,
but few are willing to suffer for His sake.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
Why do you fear to take up the
Cross, which is the road to the Kingdom?
In the Cross is salvation and
life, protection against our enemies,
infusion of Heavenly sweetness;
in the Cross is strength of mind,
joy of spirit, excellence of
virtue, perfection of holiness.
There is no salvation of soul,
nor hope of eternal life, save in the Cross.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
Take up the Cross, therefore, and
follow Jesus, and go forward into eternal life.
Christ has gone before you,
bearing His Cross;
He died for you on the Cross,
that you also may bear your cross,
and desire to die on the Cross
with Him. For if you die with Him,
you will also live with Him. And
if you share His
sufferings, you will also share
His glory.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
See how in the Cross all things
consist, and in dying on it all things depend.
There is no other way to life and
to true inner peace, than the way of the Cross.
Go where you will, seek what you
will; you will find no higher way
above nor safer way below than
the road of the Holy Cross.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
The Cross always stands ready,
and everywhere awaits you.
You cannot escape it, wherever
you flee; for wherever you go,
you bear yourself, and always
find yourself.
Look up or down, without you or
within, and everywhere you will find the Cross.
And everywhere you must have
patience,
if you wish to attain inner
peace, and win an eternal crown.
God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
Lamb of God, Who take away the
sins of the world,
spare us, O Lord!.
Lamb of God, Who take away the
sins of the world,
graciously hear us, O Lord!.
Lamb of God, Who take away the
sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
Let us pray.
Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us
to follow Thee not only to the
Breaking of Bread but also to the
drinking of the Cup of Thy Passion.
Help us to love Thee for Thine
own sake and not for the sake of comfort for
ourselves. Make us worthy to
suffer for Thy name,
Jesus, our Crucified and Risen
Lord and Saviour,
now and forever. Amen.
