SEEDS AND WEEDS
CHRISTIANITY OASIS has provided you with this Seeds and Weeds study. What are Seeds and Weeds symbolically used to represent in the Bible? The Seeds and Weeds represent good and bad thoughts that enter our mind which is represented as a garden in the Bible. Jesus used these symbols to teach us how to tend the garden of our mind as to remove evil thoughts planted by the enemy and replace them with good thoughts. Let us seek and find the TRUTH of the Seeds and Weeds together, shall we?

Jesus said, "The kingdom of Heaven is like a man that planted good seed in his field, but while his workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds and snuck away"

 Knowing the outcome of this parable, to be the souls known as being weeds, being cast into eternal fire, we should do our best to prevent our "gardens" from being overtaken by weeds resulting in us being deemed as the weed.

Consider your mind as being a garden. You CHOOSE what SEED you want to plant within yourself by planting thoughts of that which you experience by way of your senses (Eyes, Ears, Nose, Touch, Taste and Thoughts) ... If this seed or thought is accepted as TRUTH, you allow it into the depths of your mind known by the science world as your sub-conscious mind. It is a spiritual place in the mind. In this secret place we water our thoughts by belief, passion, pondering, study, dreams, etc. until it grows and blossoms into a tree which bears fruits which will become our words and deeds. However, like a garden, we must beware of the seeds that become weeds that are brought in and planted by another means other than ourselves.

Just as with a real garden, entities such as birds can bring in just about anything and without careful watch on your garden, you can awake one day to find things growing in your garden (Or Mind) that you did not plant. The seeds and weeds within the garden of our minds could be anything and could come from so many sources from the various commercials on television or a radio to bad thoughts that just "pop into our minds" ... You may not have consciously accepted these seeds which became weeds but unless they are identified and pulled ... They will grow in the dark recesses of your mind until they too become trees which produce fruit ... Which also become your words and deeds.

I will prove this TRUTH to you. Have you ever been thinking of a problem and just kinda forgot about it cuz something else came up and later FELT like something was wrong but couldn't remember what it was? Then, later you remember that problem, resolve it and you FEEL better? Where do ya think that THOUGHT or SEED was at when ya couldn't remember it? It was IN your sub-conscience mind ... Growing into a WEED. Isn't that exactly how it happens too? Oft times it is when you are asleep. Maybe you have a dream where a bad seed is planted. Sometimes you will remember the dream and sometimes you won't.

On the days when bad seeds were planted in your dreams and you don't remember the dream, you can just feel it the next day that something is wrong, but you don't know what. The bad news is you cannot stop the bombarding of seeds from being cast into your mind. Even if you went and hid in a closet you can still have bad thoughts and dreams. It is your enemy's job to try and plant these seeds. The good news is that you can control this infestation of seeds and weeds by your CHOICES. Pray daily for God to remove any bad seeds or weeds that may have been planted within you with or without your knowledge. In your daily life, expose ANY lie that comes to mind ... By revealing TRUTH. IF you elect to identify and stop this procedure from occurring and keep removing any weeds by poisoning them with TRUTH, you can maintain a beautiful garden which will produce good fruits, which will be seen and felt by others, by way of your words and deeds.  

I seek to address those who are caught up in the sexual trap of the mind set forth by our adversary and his imps … Many would prefer to keep this topic locked up tight in their closet, but we have a few who have CHOSEN to bring these lies of the soul, to the light of TRUTH in hopes that it will … Set them FREE from it’s grasp. It is awesome that these few souls have CHOSEN to be free from this habit created by the devils. These few souls have cried out in this forum and I will not turn a deaf ear just because another may find it offensive to discuss. God knows, I have never been good at tickling ears. The TRUTH is that there are more souls caught up in this trap of the mind than have CHOSEN to reveal it so I speak to those souls as well.

Shall I keep the TRUTH or share it? I will share the TRUTH as to help these souls, by bringing light to the path that they are on as for them to return to their first love and the ONLY one who can save their soul … JESUS. Let us proceed ... Although cybering and online porn sites are the newest fad, do not be deceived … This trap is everywhere and has been around for generations. The power of habit of this lure is that of drugs. It is no different than cigarettes or any other habit forming lure with the exception that this one can land your soul in Hell, which is satan’s will. You can only become entangled in it's web by CHOICE. And you will find that the TRUTH is ... CHOICE is the only way you can escape it. It begins with what appears to be lil to nothing, One CHOOSES a lil peek, a lil flirt but as soon as your soul CHOOSES this new drug, the seed is within ya and your soul begins to adapt to the plague. It begins to crave more and demands the dosage to be increased. Before ya know it you are doing things that if even pondered on as a child, would have made you vomit.

Know this TRUTH then ... Once, we were all lil children and had NO concept of such things. (Our Father knows this TRUTH and still sees us as that ... Just lost) At satan's word, the trap was set and brought forth. The goal ... YOUR SOUL. The television is one of the most used advertising methods of our adversary. There is a technique used by many advertisers known as subliminal advertising. In producing television ads, they insert a ‘frame’ within the film they produce, of a nasty picture. The film, has hundreds or thousands of ‘frames’ on the reel, and as the film plays, the one single frame passes so quickly that it’s not detectible by the conscious mind, but your subconscious perceives it.

This is a very clever trick of the devil’s, not only to get you to buy the product that’s being advertised, but the devil’s product as well … temptation. You may think you’re only watching a commercial for antacid, but the TRUTH is, what you’re watching is more stomach turning than that double pepperoni pizza that caused your heartburn in the first place. Having the sinful nature that we have, our subconscious mind lures us to favor that particular product above others … we don’t know why, consciously, because the generic brand contains the exact same thing and is half the cost, but the subliminal record that is in your subconscious mind persuades you to reach for the name brand whose subliminal advertisement has influenced you. An even sadder thing, is that this filth is being implanted in our children’s minds too. Sick! Criminal! This of course is illegal, but who’s gonna check every frame of every commercial of every company that uses this deceptive method of advertising? What can you do about it? Again, pray daily for God to remove any bad seeds or weeds that may have been planted within you, with or without your knowledge.

But, there are so many other avenues by which the enemy attempts to reach within you. Even the whispers of our trusted "friends" are just as bad. These foul thoughts sneak into the innocent soul and becomes a secret thought. As we all know, secret thoughts are seeds like any other thought that we are introduced to but these are planted deep within and grow well in the darkness as they are a temporal lie and fear the light of TRUTH as they would wither away in it’s light.

Sooooooo, we find that it is nothing more than a bad habit and that is why one performs it and when it’s temporal effect has completed, you are left with the TRUTH that it is foul to your soul. But you BELIEVE that you have become addicted to this habit. The TRUTH is that this is not YOUR will, but the devils' plot. You only return because it has become a habit. So how do we break this habit? The ONLY way to break this habit is to cry out to JESUS. Now I know ya are thinking, brother I have many times. But, have ya UNDERSTOOD what that means? YOU must CHOOSE to do so and you will find the TRUTH is in the CHOICE. Remember that this is but a plague of the mind and heart. A type of flu if ya will. A "temptation flu" ... Ya only need to take the antidote medicine to be cured. Forget not that even Jesus was tempted. The devil tempted Him and Jesus used the WORD of TRUTH to reveal the lie.

We find that the prescription for the "temptation flu" is to CHOOSE to reveal the TRUTH. The next time you feel the "temptation flu", consider Jesus’ method. Read the Word. Try this ... Get your Bible, close your eyes, fill your heart with belief and ask God, in Jesus’ name what it is that He would have you read. Then, with eyes closed, open the Bible and point. The TRUTH … Will set you FREE. Seek and find TRUTH and return not to the vomit lest it be seen as your CHOICE.
