³² Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from Heaven; but my Father giveth you the true Bread from Heaven.
³³ For the Bread of God is He which cometh down from Heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
³⁴ Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
³⁵ And Jesus said unto them, I Am the Bread of Life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
³⁶ But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
³⁷ All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
³⁸ For I came down from Heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.
³⁹ And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
⁴⁰ And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴² And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from Heaven?
⁴³ Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
⁴⁴ No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
⁴⁵ It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
⁴⁶ Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father.
⁴⁷ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
⁴⁸ I am that bread of life.
⁴⁹ Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
⁵⁰ This is the Bread which cometh down from Heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
⁵¹ I am the living Bread which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
⁵² The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us His flesh to eat?
⁵³ Then Jesus said unto them [concerning the The Body of Christ Communion,] Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.
⁵⁴ Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
⁵⁵ For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
⁵⁶ He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

⁵⁸ This is that bread which came down from Heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
⁵⁹ These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
⁶⁰ Many therefore of His disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
⁶¹ When Jesus knew in Himself that his disciples murmured at it, He said unto them, Doth this offend you? [They did not understand the Spiritual aspect of The Body of Christ Communion.]
⁶² What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where He was before?

⁶⁴ But, there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray Him.
⁶⁵ And He said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

From that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with Him.

²⁶ And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
²⁷ And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
²⁸ For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

⁶ Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
⁷ And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
⁸ Which when Jesus perceived, He said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
⁹ Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
¹⁰ Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
¹¹ How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
¹² Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
² The same was in the beginning with God.
³ All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. The same [Jesus] was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and TRUTH.

³ And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
⁴ But, He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

⁷ And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
⁸ And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
⁹ Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
¹⁰ Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

¹⁶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:
¹⁷ Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins ...

For this is my Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

²⁴ And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
²⁵ After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
²⁶ For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come.

¹⁸ For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
¹⁹ For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
²⁰ When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's Supper.
²¹ For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
²² What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

²⁷ Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
²⁸ But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
²⁹ For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

From that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with Him.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
¹⁷ For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Now the God of Peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting Covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
