Through His Eyes

Through God's Eyes

Christianity Oasis Ministry has provided this Father's Eyes trek for truth by looking through God's Eyes as to sense through His Eyes. We will be looking into that and all aspects of the Christian Walk. This Father's eyes study will reveal truth as to bring forth understanding and then peace.

Welcome to our Christianity Oasis Christian Walk Bible study program. This is our absolutely awe inspiring and personally precious ... Father's Eyes quest for Spiritual facts on how to look at that which confronts us through God's eyes so that we can sense the way our Father's Eyes perceive matters and how this affects our Christian senses today. The fascinating and faith building message we find in this Through God's Eyes study on looking at others through His eyes will bring a smile to the lips and heart. Let's look into this together.

Look Through His Eyes

Feel Through God's Eyes

Our Father's Eyes

Have you ever pondered on how a child that is despised by the world, is seen through their parent's eyes. No matter how much wrong they may have done, and all the pain and suffering the family endured due to the child's choices ... The parent still sees the little child within who they brought into this world, raised and watched grow from an infant.

It is their child. And they see their child through eyes of Love. A parent's eyes. I would like to share a song with you about looking through God's Eyes and feeling through His Eyes. This looking through our Father's eyes Christian song won Song of the Year in 2009, so it obviously touched many souls.

Give Me Your Eyes

by Brandon Heath

Looked down from a broken sky
Traced out by the city lights
My world from a mile high
Best seat in the house tonight

Touch down on the cold black-top
Hold on for the sudden stop
Breathe in the familiar shock of confusion and chaos
All those people goin' somewhere, why have I never cared?

Give me Your eyes for just one second
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missin'
Give me Your love for humanity
Give me Your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Step out on the busy street
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide what's underneath

There's a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
Too ashamed to tell his wife he's out of work, he's buyin' time
All those people goin' somewhere, why have I never cared?

Give me Your eyes for just one second
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me Your love for humanity
Give me Your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I've been there a million times
A couple million lives
Just movin' past me by
I swear, I never thought that I was wrong
But I wanna second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way You've seen the people all along

Give me Your eyes for just one second
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missin'
Give me Your love for humanity
Give me Your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me Your eyes so I can see

Give me Your eyes for just one second
(Lord, give me Your eyes) give me Your eyes, so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
That I keep missing (keep missing)
Give me Your heart for the broken-hearted
(for the broken-hearted)
(The ones that are far beyond my reach)
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Lord, give me Your eyes
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

With this song in mind, let us look into the Bible for how to look through His Eyes. Through our Father's eyes of unconditional love, that is how to view those which you encounter, through God's eyes. We are to love one another and what we do for and to others, we do for and to Jesus:

Matthew 25:40

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

I would like to share a few words from another Christian song teaching us to see others through God's Eyes. The song is called ...

What If I Stumble?

by DC Talk

"The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips. Then walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."

Now, obviously it is saying that we should walk the walk. That we are to be Doers and not just hearers of the Word:

James 1:22

But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Hearing and then stepping away and forgetting everything we experienced when we choose looking through God's Eyes and understanding through His Eyes.

James 1:23-24

23 For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

Hearing and feeling that Spirit within the Words, but choosing not to abide by the Words.

Ezekiel 33:31-32

31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

They hear and say Amen ... And then step out and follow after their own heart and will. Not only Christians, but Christian leaders and teachers ...

Matthew 23:23

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

They lack looking through God's Eyes and feeling through His Eyes ... This is referring to the people who like to use the laws to condemn the lost and troubled souls. While spitting out their knowledge of the law ... They overlook the most important aspects of God's law, which is Faith and Mercy:

And to Love one another ...

John 13:34

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

I have always wondered how individuals who are sinners, walk around using God's Word to judge and condemn others. Knowing they too are sinners.

Here is a looking through God's Eyes and feeling through His Eyes tidbit of truth ... I have found that many times it is because they have such a fragile faith that the fear of loss of their own faith has them teach and preach, using this manner of delivering God's Word. Still others stopped doing a specific sin and they feel that the day they stopped is the day the punishment phase began.

An example of this would be someone who had lust issues for many years then grew old and the world no longer found any value in their flesh and they became unwanted so they turned to Jesus for comfort and now condemn any who have lust issues, because they no longer have them.

We are supposed be looking through God's Eyes at others we encounter and sensing through His Eyes as to emit the same comfort that we enjoy:

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Then there are others who just love to step on the necks of those who are downtrodden thinking they are taller when they do. They educate themselves as to become "Ministers of the Word" but focus on the letter of the Word and fail to hear the Spirit as it is to be:

2 Corinthians 3:6

Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Here is a Looking through God's Eyes and experiencing through His Eyes warning ... They do this as they have not the Spirit of God, but rather seek to edify themselves by showing those who are not well learned of God's Word just how well they know the Bible and then try and CON-trol said souls. In most cases these souls have selfish and even sinister plots.

They seek to mask their own sin by hiding behind God's Word ...

Matthew 23:27

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

The Lord was clear when referring to those who seek to judge and condemn His children:

Matthew 23:13

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of Heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Another seeing through God's Eyes and loving through His Eyes danger ... We are taught clearly that we are not to use God's Word to judge others.

Matthew 7:1

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Matthew 18:23-35

23 Therefore is the Kingdom of Heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my Heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Living through God's Eyes and working on helping others by seeing them through His Eyes is wisdom. It all boils down to what the essence of God is ... God allowed His Son to be so horribly treated and beaten, then suffered the most horrible death one could imagine. Just to give us another chance. We should be this way with others ...

I wanna share one more song with ya.

Here I Go Again

by Casting Crowns

Father, hear my prayer. I need the perfect words.
Words that he will hear. And know they're straight from You.
I don't know what to say. I only know it hurts.
To see my only friend slowly fade away.

So maybe this time. I'll speak the words of life.
With Your fire in my eyes. But that old familiar fear
Is tearin' at my words. What am I so afraid of?
'Cause here I go again. Talkin' 'bout the rain.
And mullin' over things that won't live past today.
And as I dance around the truth. Time is not his friend.
This might be my last chance to tell him that You love Him.
But here I go again. Here I go again.

Lord, You love him so. You gave Your only Son.
If he will just believe. He will never die.
But how then will he know. What he has never heard?
Lord he has never seen mirrored in my life.

But here I go again. Here I go, here I go.
This might be my last chance. To tell him that You love him.
This might be my last chance. To tell him that You love him.
You love him, You love him.

What am I so afraid ... What am I so afraid ...
What am I so afraid of? How then will he know.
What he has never heard?

Yet another Father's Eyes Bible study tip on loving others through God's Eyes ... We should be out there sharing the Truth that God Loves these souls.

Not showing em how much Scripture we know and use it to CON-demn these lost and troubled souls in some vain effort to edify ourselves, when we know very well that we are all sinners.

If any of you are being whispered to by someone who appears to be a man or woman of God and they are using God's Word to CON-demn or CON-trol you ... Know that true Christians would never seek ways to condemn or control you, but rather ways to show you the Love that God has for you.

These souls see you with Gd's Eyes ... God sees what His children can and will become. The potential that is within us. Not what we have become after being influenced by years of man's world trends and traditions.

Let us all pray to look upon His children through His Eyes.

Our Father's Eyes Bible Study reveals that we are to try and look at our surroundings and others we encounter through God's eyes of Love because when you look through His eyes of Love you will see others differently and may find the true you.
