So
don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and
give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.
(Galatians 6:9)
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love
the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are
written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which
cannot
be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point
is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then
gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the
answer.
Rainer Maria Rilke
Letters to a Young Poet
Sometimes we have questions that we want answers to right away.
Instant
gratification as it can be known, we get impatient with God for not
having the answers. Well... at least that's what WE perceive! Sometimes
God hides clues to the answers in our experiences. He wants us to
experience everything: the joys, the tragedies, the everyday routine when
everything seems so reliable and so comfortable. Remembering to live IN
Him and FOR Him during the journey, regardless of earthly circumstances,
is what He wants us to do! Obedience and perseverence will reap
heavenly rewards and the ultimate answer to your heart.
