The First Epistle of John
Chapter 5
True Biblical Trinity Blessing
What is the Holy Trinity Explained
We're sure glad that you're here for today's Daily Bread. As we study
this last chapter of John's first letter, it's clear that John's
intent is to show us that we are God's children in light, in love,
and in life, and that our spiritual connection and belief in His Son
Jesus Christ is what gives us all those things, and eternal life. How
can you tell who is truly His? Let's see what John says.
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ and is born of God, and
everyone who loves the Father, loves also the Son. By this we know
that we love the children of God; when we love God, and keep His
commandments. This shows that we love God; that we keep His
commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome. Because
whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and the victory that
overcomes the world, is our faith. Who can overcome the world, other
than he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
This is He that came by water and blood, that is, Jesus Christ; not
by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that
bears witness, because the Spirit is Truth.
We're all pretty familiar with the body and blood of Jesus, from the
story of the Last Supper, but let's investigate this water that John
is talking about. In John's Gospel there's a story about a woman from
Samaria (John
4:14 ). Jesus told her that He is the living water, and that
whoever drinks of the water that He gives will never thirst again,
but the water that He shall give will be a well of water springing up
into everlasting life.

Who Are the Holy Trinity Explained
Then, while teaching at Capernaum, he told the Jewish people:
John 6:53-56
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily,
verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man,
and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath
eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink
indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,
dwelleth in me, and I in him.
At the Last Supper Jesus confirmed this again when Jesus gave the
Apostles the cup of wine, (known as the cup of eternal salvation) and
said, This is my blood.
Now, you're probably thinking that
those last two things are referring to Jesus' blood, not water. Ah,
but read this from John's account of when Jesus was taken down from
the cross:
John 19:34-35
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side,
and forthwith came there out blood and water.
35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true:
and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
Water ... Is necessary for life. His water, is necessary for
eternal life. It only makes sense that He came by water and
blood when he took human form as to die for our sins.
Biblical Trinity Blessing Truth
The Holy Trinity Explained Spiritually
Now, at the Last Supper, Jesus said to eat and drink in His memory.
Now, each time when we eat and drink, we have an opportunity to
remember that Jesus blood was shed for us, and that we continually
renew His life in us. many choose to do this before they eat each
meal, they say a little prayer. Some denominations call this
communion, and it is only offered at certain times. But I ask you, is
it the consecrating of bread and wine that removes your sins, or was
it the act of Jesus dying on the cross, that takes away the sins of
the world, once for all?
We've also learned that we need forgiveness regularly, not once a
week or once a month, so why wouldn't Jesus choose the Last Supper
... A meal. Something that we partake of daily ... Regularly,
to use as the perfect occasion to remind us that He died for us and
to confess our sins and be forgiven daily.
And what about penance? Is it our works that bring
forgiveness? Did not Jesus already pay the price? To be repentant
comes from your heart and our Lord forgives us. To suggest that in
order to be forgiven, one must recite a specific prayer, do some
community service or anything of that nature ... Is like saying that
you are in some way working off your sins, or that you
somehow have a hand in the forgiveness process and that at the end of
all things ... It's saying that what Jesus did, dying on the cross
for you, wasn't enough and that your works will be the
healing factor. Truth is ... It is much more Spiritual than
all that. Jesus paid our price and that price is eternal. I
would like to share a spiritual Truth with you today which may help
you in your Christian walk.
Biblical Trinity Blessing and Hope
Where Are the Holy Trinity Explained
1 John 5:7-8
7 For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the
Father, the Word [Jesus], and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are
One.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the
Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these
Three agree in One.
We Were Made in God's Image
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our
likeness:
Note that the Bible says "Us" and "Our" when God is talking. That is
because "Us" and "Our" is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The Holy
Trinity ... Three in One. Soooooo, since we (as humans) were made in
His image, we also have three parts but are one.
Therefore we, as humans, are made of three parts or depths. Spirit,
water and blood. Let's look into this a little. The spirit is
the spirit that God assigns to each soul that is born and that we
humans surrender when we die (give up the ghost or spirit). The
water is obviously the body since it is made up of mostly water.
The blood is our soul because DNA blood samples can be used to
identify a specific person.
Again as it is written ... Abel's blood cried out. In the Book
of Genesis, God says ... Let there be
... And there was. But
if we look closer at the scripture ...
Genesis 1:1-3
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the
face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
We see that God made a command and His Spirit caused the physical
change. In like manner ... Our assigned spirit and our body are
subject to our soul.
Biblical Trinity Blessing is Real
Presence of the Holy Trinity Explained
I will give you an example ... You are watching television, happy as
a lark and then you see something that saddens ya, your mind
tells your spirit that you are sad and your spirit reacts and the
physical body changes. Tears fall from your eyes and out come the
Kleenex. Your soul chose to believe or think something and said "Let
there be" sadness, so your spirit changed and your body reacted to
the spirit.
It is a process that occurs because of what God said ... We are made
in their image. Our spirit and body are subject unto our
souls. This is an important Truth to be aware of because it's
happening with or without your being conscience of it. What we choose
is what our spirit will perform and the body will follow. It doesn't
matter if it is good, bad, happy or sad ... The spirit only hears ...
"Let there be."
John continues ...
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for
this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He that
believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that
doesn't believe God has made Him a liar; because he doesn't believe
the record that God gave of His Son. And this is the record, that
God has given to us, eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He that has the Son, has life; and he that has not the Son of God,
has no life.
Biblical Trinity Blessing for Yours
The Vow of the Holy Trinity Explained
I've written these
things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; so you may know
that you have eternal life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son
of God. And this is the confidence that we have
in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: And if
we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we asked of Him.
If any man sees
his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and God shall
give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto
death I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin:
and there is a sin not unto death.
Let's look at that last paragraph again in more current terms. If
anyone sees his brother commit a sin that isn't worthy of death, he
shall pray for his brother, and God will forgive him (or her). There
is a sin worthy of death however, which is blasphemy of the Holy
Spirit. John says:
I don't say that you should pray for that, because blasphemy of the
Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin, and God will not hear. All
wrongdoing is sin, and there are sins that are not worthy of death.
We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin; (It is not we that
sin but the sinful nature within us that is why we feel bad after and
repent ... We were born into the sin of Adam and Eve. It is
hereditary.) but he that is begotten of God (reborn) guards himself,
and that wicked one doesn't touch him. And we know that we are of
God, and the whole world lies in wickedness. And we know that the Son
of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know
Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son
Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
