What is Faith Healing and is Faith Healing Real
It is well documented in the Bible that Jesus healed many souls and He said that it was the person or person’s Faith that healed
them.
Luke 8:48
And He said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy Faith hath made thee
whole; go in peace.
Luke 17:19
And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy
Faith hath made thee whole.
The Apostles were also able to heal others who had Faith. In fact,
the shadow of Peter was able to heal those with Faith ...
Acts 5:15
Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the
streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that
at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might
overshadow some of them.
And even possessions of Paul were able to heal due to Faith.
Acts 19:11-12
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of
Paul.
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick
handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed
from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Is Faith Healing Real Today
Now, these were not magic shadows, aprons and handkerchiefs, but
rather the Faith in those who were ill or possessed demons
had brought forth the miracle of healing from God.
In Truth ... Even folks today are given the ability to heal in
the name of Jesus. Let us continue our Christian Faith Healing journey asking what is Faith Healing and
find the Truth within the Bible concerning the mystery of is Faith Healing real ...
One of the Spiritual gifts that the
Holy Spirit bestows upon man is the ability to heal others.
Yes, my friends, it is Truth ... The Bible is filled with Scriptures
about the healing power of Faith.
There are many souls who are ill and/or taking
prescription medicine choosing to want to kick the medication
they are taking to the curb and carry on in Faith that God
will just heal them.
But, is this wise? Is this what Jesus intended when He said ...
Here is Christian Faith Healing tidbit of Truth for you who ask,
is Faith Healing real? Though I am a VERY firm
believer in the ability to be healed by Faith ... I also know that God
created everything. This includes every ingredient necessary
to create prescription drugs and the talent and skill within
the scientists by which to
combine these ingredients to come up with a healing recipe
that actually cures the recipient of said medication.
Think about it ...
Antibiotics have saved many children’s lives. They are a Godsend!
And so is the doctor who prescribed them. This
means that many doctors are used as the healing hands of God.
Does this sound strange? Was not Luke a physician?

How is Faith Healing Real
So, this means that God may (in many cases) use doctors to heal His
children. But what about the issue of Faith? Is Faith healing real Truth? Does Faith require us to just stop going to doctors or taking
prescribed medication?

Many believe that they need not seek medical attention and choose to
blame Faith and there have been some tragic endings due to this limited view of Faith healing.
I had a friend who was diagnosed as having heart problems
and he was given a prescription and told not to stop taking
it. He felt that he was not really having heart problems and
did stop taking the medication and there were other
complications that sprung forth due to this message on the label ...
WARNING: Do not stop taking this
medicine abruptly without consulting with your doctor.
During this newest problem, they discovered that he was
misdiagnosed and receiving medication for a heart disease
that he did not have so his Faith that he did not need the
medicine was correct, but his taking the medication in the
first place and then choosing to stop abruptly without
consulting doctor created another issue.
I question not one’s Faith of being healed ... But the method of proving it.
Here is a lil Christian Faith Healing story ...
There was this woman who did not feel well, so she went to
the doctor. She was told that she had an illness and
needed to take a prescription.
She told the doctor that she would not be taking the
medicine, but would live by Faith and wait upon the
Lord to be healed.
She suffered miserably as time passed and a friend
begged her to just take the medicine. But, she told
her friend that she was trusting on the Lord to heal
her.
She died a few months later because her ailment was
not treated. When she arrived in Heaven, she asked
God, with tears streaming down her face, why He did
not try and heal her.
God said ... My beloved child ... I provided a doctor, the medicine
needed and a friend to encourage you to take it as to heal you.

Is Faith Healing Real Conclusion
So, those who are told by a doctor that they should be taking medication to treat an illness should not be so quick to believe that doing nothing is the only act of Faith. Prayer is an effective tool in Christian faith healing and should always be done, but one should watch for all avenues by which God may answer said prayer. Is not believing that God provided you with the doctor and medication and believing that the treatment will work, not an act of Faith?
If you
are one of those who are contemplating trying to heal yourself by Faith ... Please reconsider your choice to not see a doctor and/or stop taking your prescribed medication until you have spoken to your doctor(s) about this a lil more. If you feel you do not need the treatment, maybe a second opinion would be something to consider.
On the other hand it may be that you will find after talking with doctor(s) that you should take the medicine. Sometimes we do need physical
medicine and God provided a way for us to receive it.
This Christian Faith Healing study is not to be seen as being against Faith healing. God forbid. But rather a method of bringing understanding that we should not limit God’s methods of healing.

under the care of a doctor, or if you’re taking prescription
medication for any reason, Do Not discontinue it unless you have
orders from your doctor.
Jesus made this statement:
Luke 5:31
They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
This Scripture clearly suggests that even though Jesus
was using an analogy of a human physician to reveal that
He is the healer of the soul ... Jesus acknowledged that
there were human physicians needed for the body at times
when our body is sick. God works thru the hands of many
physicians. Just as God’s Spirit will work thru this
program to heal your soul.
