Sufficiency
O Lord, I
do
confess that I have
often
made the choice
to follow my
own
longings and
denied
the still, small voice
that beckons me to
listen
and
obey
the Savior’s call -
The One who
promises
to
guide
me and
protect
me when I fall.
I have
no
wisdom of my
own,
nor
strength
to do my tasks.
I need
Your
strength,
Your
wisdom - this is
all
that I would ask.
Forgive
my failures,
help
me Lord, to right the
wrongs
I’ve done.
The answer lies in this
brief
line - sufficiency is
God!
You meet me at my
greatest
need ...
wherever
it be found.
All
other ground is sinking sand and ... if the
truth
be known -
Without
Your
guidance and
Your
care - my life is
disarray.
But I
will
have
abounding
life with
Your
sufficient grace.
