Mark 7:14-15 "And when he had called all the people [unto him], he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one [of you], and understand: There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man."

Man acquires knowledge primarily through his senses. What we see and hear affects our entire well-being. It gets down into our hearts, influences our way of thinking and eventually comes out of our mouths to impact the world around us. We should purposefully guard all of our experiences, so that only godly, wholesome thoughts are formed in our minds and spoken from our lips.

Negativity of any type is contagious; it will distort our point of view and that of others. We must not permit the darkness and deception which surround us in these last days to distract us from our divine destinies or to cause us to step out of the perfect will of God. What we say could defile us if we are not cautious. We can contaminate all those with whom we come in contact.

We must be very careful in the use of our words. We should always speak and pray whatever the Lord instructs us. We cannot be frivolous in our speech. We should not just blurt out everything that comes into our minds. We must be prudent in all that we think, say and do. Our words determine the course of our entire lives. What we speak today is generated into future reality for us.

Since we are created in God's image and likeness, our words have the power to create or destroy. We should speak only words of life and light to our situations and circumstances, so that we see positive results manifest. It is critical that we avoid all negativity, or we will see less than desirable consequences to our words. We must hold to affirming words that line up with God's words.

Proverbs 2:1-5 "My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, [and] apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, [and] liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as [for] hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God."

As believers, we are to be in the world, but not of it. We cannot permit ourselves to be overcome by the wickedness and evil all around us. The Lord demands that we come out from among all those who are sinful and unrepentant, and consecrate and dedicate our lives to Him. We have to separate ourselves from anything that would tend to defile us. We must avoid all temptation to sin in a reverential fear of the Lord.

One way to ensure that our thoughts and words are godly at all times is to make certain we are diligent to put the Word in our minds and hearts, so it becomes an integral part of us. If we abide in a close personal relationship with God and His words are precious to us, He will give us all the divine wisdom and understanding that we seek. He will reveal all we need to know to make us successful in everything we do.

There is no easy way to become holy and perfect, just as God is holy and perfect. But He expects us to strive for that level of moral integrity and spiritual maturity. The more we read and study His Word, the more familiar we become with His way of doing things, so that it is more natural for us. True godliness comes only from following all of His commandments and applying what He has taught us in the Scriptures.

If we cry out to the Lord and ask Him for knowledge that enlightens us in all that we must undertake, He will never leave us ashamed or empty-handed. He wants to share every good thing with His beloved children. He makes the crooked ways straight, and simplifies the complex. He will equip us to be totally victorious in this world and in the Kingdom to come. He is glorified when we prevail in every situation.

Jeremiah 15:16 "Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts."

God's words are absolutely vital, yet they were never meant to be kept just to ourselves. We cannot be selfish, even though we are already saved and in right standing with the Lord. We must share His Word with others, so that they can also be set free. We should preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all those with whom we come in contact. It may be possible that they repent of sin and are baptized to eternal life.

We have divine destinies as the sons and daughters of almighty God. We must speak like God speaks and establish His way of doing things on this earth. We can tear down all demonic strongholds that oppose themselves against the Word of God, and overcome all evil with good. In the days to come, we will speak with power and authority and enforce only godly principles of justice and equality for all of mankind.

The fate of the entire world will be altered through the faith-based words that we pray and decree. We will abolish all wars, violence and conflict by challenging all governments to line up with God's Word and His will for us. There will be peace, order and stability in all of our human affairs. There will be no more poverty and lack when we persuade the wealthy to share all their resources with those who are in need.

We will command total harmony in all of creation and eliminate all predatory activities. Plants, animals and all natural elements will be subject to our words, just as they once were in the Garden of Eden. We will speak to the climate and regulate it, so that there are no more natural disasters that destroy the earth. We will reverse all the effects of pollution and restore the environment to its original beauty and balance.

Every word that we vocalize will line up with the immutable Word of almighty God and His express will for us. We will not utter one syllable that He does not instruct us to speak on His behalf. Our obedience will be total and complete and we will see heaven ushered into this earth realm in the Kingdom of God. We will rejoice with all our hearts, and dwell in the awesome presence of God Himself for all of eternity.

Disciplined Speech

Proverbs 4:23-24 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee."

Believers must always guard their hearts with due diligence. We cannot be affected by all the defilement and contamination that surround us. We have to avoid temptation to sin and renounce it for all time. We must guard our hearts, so that no wickedness or evil can take root in them. What gets down deep inside of us will eventually come out in our words and behavior.

If we are careless about what we think, say and do we will be disqualified from divine service. The Holy Spirit will take leave of unclean vessels. The Lord expects us to sanctify ourselves in the truth and be totally obedient to all that He asks of us. There is important work that must be done in the critical days that lie ahead and we have to be godly role models for others.

We cannot afford to be doing our own thing any longer. Too much is at stake. The fate of all mankind depends upon our obedience. The Lord has need of our assistance in implementing His eternal redemption plan. We will receive a full anointing in His very own divine power and authority. We have been given a sacred charge to speak the uncompromised Word of God.

There will be no room for error, nor the possibility for us to fail. Almighty God will provide all that we need to be successful on His behalf. We will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to men, women and children in all the nations of the world and take back the earth for the Kingdom of God. Our words will be virtual powerhouses that impact the fate of all of mankind.

Psalm 34:12-14 "What man [is he that] desireth life, [and] loveth [many] days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it."

If we are sincere followers of Jesus Christ, we must learn to be disciplined and self-controlled. We must never abuse our God-given privileges or run the risk of losing them. We are the Body of Christ on this earth. We have been given a divine commission to preach the Gospel; heal the sick; cast out demons; and even raise the dead back to life again, just as Christ Himself did.

We must avoid all evil and crucify our fleshly lusts and selfish, soul ambitions. We have divine destinies to fulfill, and we can no longer be worldly in any way. We should be at peace with almighty God and with all men, wherever possible. We can never be careless or frivolous in our speech. We should always speak what God instructs us to say in every situation and circumstance.

The tongue needs to be disciplined, so that our entire body is righteous and godly. We can never succumb to rumors, gossip, judgment and condemnation in its use. With it we can bless or curse mankind. We must purposely choose to speak words of hope and encouragement to others. There can never be any strife and division among us that result from negative and destructive words.

Our words have the power to create or destroy. They are tools to be used for good in our service to others. We must guard our words, so that we see positive effects from them. Everything that we say should line up with God's Word. Our words can also be used as weapons for spiritual warfare. We will destroy demonic strongholds that interfere with our blessings and overcome all evil.

Job 33:3 "My words [shall be of] the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly."

We have an obligation to serve the Lord diligently and responsibly. We have been given a sacred charge to speak the Word as the Lord arranges our contacts. The fate of all mankind depends on our willingness and obedience. We must be fully consecrated to God's plans, so that we can usher in His everlasting Kingdom as quickly and expediently as possible. We will soon see heaven itself brought to this earth realm.

If we are pure in heart and contrite in spirit, then we will be able to speak the Word of God with total integrity and see miraculous results. Our lips will utter only what God would have us say. The Lord will anoint His fully mature sons and daughters to speak His wisdom and knowledge to others. We will be sacred vessels consecrated for His use, and be given divine power and authority to change the world.

The very words that we speak will generate blessings for all the righteous. We will preach the Gospel to every race, tongue and nation and see the full, end-time harvest of souls gathered into the Kingdom of God. We will share our faith with power and conviction and see everyone who is receptive born again and baptized in Jesus' name. Everyone whose name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be saved.

Romans 10:17-18 "So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world."

The Word of God, spoken through our mouths, will rebuke and exhort men to adhere to the truth. We will warn them of the impending judgment and encourage them to repent of all their sins, so they can be saved to eternal life. The fate of the entire human race will be altered by the words that we speak. We will save countless numbers from destruction if we speak the Word of God in all of its power and authority.

We will confront all world governments and challenge them to adopt godly principles in dealing with others. There will be no more war, violence or conflict among men. We will eliminate all poverty and lack off the face of the earth, by persuading the wealthy to share their resources with those who are less fortunate. We will teach all of mankind to dwell in love, peace and unity, as the Lord requires of us.

Our words that line up with those of almighty God will affect all creation. We will restore it to its original beauty and balance by speaking harmony to all plants and animals, and by regulating the climate. We will reverse the effects of all pollution and establish order and stability in the environment. We will make certain that our faith-based words prevent all natural disasters that can cause destruction to the earth.

Everything that we say and do will glorify God and manifest His love, mercy and compassion for men. He will be pleased with our efforts and generously reward us for our devoted service in the Kingdom of God. He will boast of us to all creation and make our names a praise on the earth. We will judge both men and angels; be appointed kings and priests; and rule and reign with Christ over all the nations of the world.

A Word in Due Season

Proverbs 8:6-9 "Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips [shall be] right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them. They [are] all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge."

If we have applied ourselves to know and understand the Word of God, we will be suitable ambassadors for the Kingdom of God to those around us. We must speak only righteousness and truth, without distortion of any kind. Our words will bring light and life to a world in darkness and deception. We will break many free from their bondage to sin and evil and eliminate all their chaos and confusion.

We can accomplish a great deal simply by taking our Bibles and reading the Word of God out loud for others to hear. What goes in our ears sinks deep down in our hearts and ultimately affects our behavior. The Word of God itself is mighty for tearing down all strongholds of human resistance and demonic interference. The spoken Word will have positive effects on all those who hear it.

Those who know God will receive our words with joy and gladness, as if they were the words of almighty God Himself. They will be a breath of fresh air, liberating and invigorating God's people. We will provide them with hope and confidence for their future, and tell them how to receive the free gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. We will set men free to be all that God has planned for them.

We will challenge others to seek the Lord for His wisdom and revelation, guidance and direction. Only by knowledge of His Word and the intervention of His Holy Spirit, can we receive an understanding that changes our lives. We will see the Body of Christ dramatically expanded through our efforts. Many others will be inspired and equipped to embrace their eternal callings, just as we have been.

Isaiah 50:4-5 "The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back."

We must speak whatever the Lord puts in our minds and our hearts to communicate with others. Every single word will have a distinct meaning and purpose. We will encourage those who are weary and exhort those who have strayed from the truth. Our words that line up with those of almighty God will be fruitful and productive to impact the whole world and all its inhabitants.

The Lord has imparted His Word to us, so that we can help set others free from darkness and deception. We are endowed with His very own power and authority to overcome all evil with good. We will reveal His truths, so that no one perishes for lack of knowledge. It is His desire that all of mankind be redeemed from death and destruction to eternal life with all of its benefits.

We cannot let fear, doubt or unbelief deter us in our efforts. No demonic interference will detain us or interfere with our success. We have important work that must be done to prepare the entire earth for the Kingdom of God and the return of Jesus Christ. The Lord will minister to His people through us, and we must always be faithful to share whatever He tells us with others.

There is a countless number of souls that will have to be exposed to the Word of God and encouraged to repent of all their sins. We should preach the Gospel to every man, woman and child we encounter. It may very well be possible that they will be converted, saved and baptized in Jesus' name. No righteous person should ever be denied entry into the everlasting Kingdom of God.

2Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

It will be critical that we think like God thinks and speak what He instructs us in the days ahead. Every word that we utter from our mouths will have to line up with His Word in order to be successful. If we preach the Gospel, then we must do so under the unction of the Holy Spirit. We may be asked to reprove, rebuke and exhort others to accept the truth or face dire consequences.

We must not permit men to discourage us if they resist our efforts to reach out to them. If we are patient and longsuffering, we will win them over to our faith. We will see countless numbers repent of all their sins, be converted and baptized in Jesus' name. Everyone whose name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be called and saved to eternal life with all of its many benefits.

Whatever we speak and pray should be according to the Word and the express will of our heavenly Father. We cannot speak in our own strength and get supernatural results. The fate of the entire human race lies in the balance and we ought to take our role seriously. We will have to be totally consecrated to God's eternal redemption plan for mankind and be obedient to do all that He tells us.

The Word Teaches Us How to Pray

Luke 11:1-2 "And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth."

Our role model for speaking the Word of God in all of its various forms should be our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus only spoke what He was instructed to do. He gave us a model for perfect prayer. We should praise the Lord and decree His Word and His will to see miraculous results.

The Lord's Prayer should not be just recited from memory without passion or expectancy. It is a powerful request for heaven itself to be ushered into this earth realm in the Kingdom of God and we should pray it fervently with confidence that the Lord will indeed respond to us on a timely basis.

If we seek the Lord and all of His promises to us, He will always honor our prayers that line up with His will. It is His firm desire to come and dwell with His people on this earth for all of eternity. He is simply waiting for the full number of souls to be saved and baptized in the end-time harvest.

We can hasten the coming of the Kingdom of God by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations of the world, as we have been instructed. If we are diligent to share our faith and minister to God's people, as we are destined to do, we will see the fruit of all our efforts very soon now.

It is critical that we remind the Lord of His promises and teach others how to pray in accord with God's Word and His will for mankind. If more of us take the time and cry out to Him, then He will be merciful and compassionate to save us from all the darkness that is threatening to overtake us.

Matthew 7:11 "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"

When we pray, we must always be in right standing with almighty God or our prayers could be hindered. We should strive to remain sin free and walk in love and obedience, as Christ has instructed us. The Lord wants us to pray with total sincerity and expectancy that He will indeed meet all of our needs. We can pray in private or join with other believers and lift up corporate prayers.

We should praise and thank the Lord in advance for all of His goodness, and be confident that He will respond. There can be no strife and division among us, or He will close His ears to our petitions. He expects us to be totally righteous if we hope to receive His blessings. He will not reward sin and rebellion at any time. He is never obligated to meet the needs of the wicked.

The Lord expects us to pray with all our hearts and souls, and totally rely on Him to meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory. He is the God of the impossible. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He may guide and direct us to solve our own problems, or sovereignly intervene on our behalf. He will never leave or forsake us, nor will He leave us ashamed or empty-handed.

Our God will supply all of our needs, both spiritual and temporal. We never have to fend for ourselves. Our heavenly Father has made provision for His children in every area of our lives. His Word promises us that if we will seek His Kingdom, then everything else will be added to us. The Lord will also make certain that we have an abundance of every good thing to share with others.

Matthew 6:5-8 "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."

Jesus was very specific in what He taught us about praying to His Father. He warned us to not to be hypocritical and showy. The Lord is not impressed by pretended piety or ceremonious rites and rituals. It is the inner man of the heart that appeals to Him. If we are meek and humble, contrite and righteous, He will always address our prayer requests as quickly and expediently as possible.

We do not have to beg almighty God for His favor or nag Him into responding to us. He hears our prayer the very first time that we utter it, and He will move heaven and earth to provide for His beloved children. Vain repetitions do not impress Him. If we have pleaded our case and clearly specified what it is that we desire the Lord to do, He will be able to satisfy all of our needs in abundance.

If we are vague or double minded regarding our prayer requests, then our very own words work against us. The Lord can do nothing for us if we don't even know what we need ourselves. We should always take the necessary time to determine exactly what it is that we expect of the Lord, and be straightforward in our approach to Him. We must ask in faith and believe that we receive all we need.

The Lord is always gracious and merciful to us. He never hesitates to meet the prayer requests of those who are in right standing with Him. He will supply all our needs, even above and beyond all of our expectations. He is ever generous; nothing is impossible to Him. He has all the vast resources of the entire universe at His disposal, and He is always willing to share them with His people.

Effectual, Fervent Prayer of the Righteous

Philippians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

There is no reason why we should be anxious for anything in our lives. We serve a great and glorious God and nothing is impossible to Him. He is ever mindful of our human frailty and quick to supply all that we need to be happy, healthy and prosperous in this world and in the Kingdom to come. He wants us to totally depend on Him for whatever we need, rather than operating in our own strength.

Prayer takes on many varied forms. The most basic is the prayer of petition where we make our needs known to almighty God. We can also offer Him prayers of thanksgiving and praise and intercede for others in their needs. We may ask for forgiveness or make supplication to the Lord with groans too deep to be uttered. This is when the Holy Spirit intervenes and reveals exactly how to pray.

We can pray in the Spirit or with our human understanding. Our prayers can be whispered, shouted or even sung. The Lord is always eager to hear from us and never too busy to attend to our needs. He is glad that we remind Him of His promises to us and generous in supplying the answers that we seek. It is wise to always give Him thanks and praise in advance for responding to all of our prayers.

Praise waters the ground for our prayers to be heard and elevates us to a level of positive expectancy. The Lord will never turn a deaf ear to our requests that are made with deference and respect. He is eager and willing to supply all that we request even above and beyond our expectations. There is no good thing that He will withhold from His people if we turn to Him to meet all of our requirements.

Luke 18:1 "And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;"

There are many reasons why the answers to our prayers can be delayed. Perhaps we ask outside of the will of God for our lives. Maybe we lack faith, or have some hidden sin that is blocking our blessings. It could be that there is demonic interference with our petitions. Maybe we are nagging God and have offended Him with our constant supplications. There is always a reason why our prayer is not answered just when and how we think it should be; it is never a matter of God ignoring us.

Christ told us that He would always intercede for us. We can pray and believe that we receive anything that we ask in Jesus' name. It may not come exactly as we envisioned that it should, but the answer to our prayer will always be forthcoming. If we ask the Lord for wisdom and understanding concerning His will in any given situation, He will always enlighten us. He will explain any temporary delays in the answer to our prayers and give us above and beyond all we could ever ask or think.

If we are persistent in our prayer, without being overbearing, the Lord will always honor our prayer requests. There is nothing good that He will withhold from us. He is the source of all our provision, and is never stingy with His children. He has all the vast resources of the universe at His disposal and He is ever generous in sharing them. He takes delight that we come to Him for all that we need – both spiritual and temporal. God is always ready to help those who truly depend upon Him.

James 5:13-16 "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

The Bible tells us that we should pray and communicate with God without ceasing. If we are grateful for past mercies, we should sing His praises with joy and enthusiasm. We must remember to give the Lord thanks at all times, even before we hear back from Him. We should pray for forgiveness and intercede for one another, so that all men's needs are met in abundance.

We can lay hands on the sick and speak healing prayers on their behalf, and see them restored to health and wellness. We can pray for wisdom and revelation into the deep things of God, and receive supernatural understanding. We can seek practical advice to solve all of our problems. As long as we pray sincerely from contrite hearts, we can rely on God to always hear us.

It is critical that we believe we receive the answer to all of our prayers, even before we see the results. Our faith should propel us to have a sense of expectancy that all of our needs will indeed be met. We are to be anxious about nothing; the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous and responds affirmatively to all of our requests. He will never leave us ashamed or empty-handed.

We must know our rights and privileges and always pray in accord with the Word of God. We cannot pray outside God's will and expect Him to respond. He is not obligated to supply our greed and covetousness, but He will always meet our needs. There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from those who walk in His ways and rely on Him as their complete source.

Making a Demand on the Word of God

Isaiah 43:26 "Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified."

The Lord wants us to come boldly to the throne of grace with every need, no matter how small and miniscule it might be. We should remind Him of His promises to us, and ask Him for whatever it is that we require. If we make a demand on the Word of God that is already clearly specified, we will have amazing results in our prayer life. The Word never returns to Him void; the Lord always backs it up.

The Bible tells us that God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. We know that the Lord is in control of all the resources of the universe. Nothing is impossible to Him. He will move heaven and earth to supply whatever we might require to be healthy, happy and prosperous. As long as we are in right standing with Him, we can have hope and confidence that it will always be granted to us.

God's promises to His people are clearly specified in His Word. He has raised us to sit with Christ in heavenly places at His right hand. He views us as His very own sons and daughters. We are joint-heirs with Jesus to all the blessings for righteousness. This world and everything in it belong to us, if we know our rights and privileges and assert them. We should lay claim to all the Lord wants us to have.

Our God is not a cheapskate. He is ever generous and benevolent to His people. He will never withhold any good thing from us. If we ask in faith, and can supply Him with evidence from His Word, He will always come through for us in record time. We need not spend hours and days in travail and supplication to have our needs met, the Lord will be quick to respond to a demand placed on His own Word.

Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

The Word constantly reminds us to seek God in our time of need. He is always loving, merciful and compassionate to His people. He has not placed us in this world so that we can struggle to survive. If we make our needs known to Him, we will never lack for any good thing. He goes before us in all that we do, and makes the crooked paths straight so that we never lack direction.

He gives us nourishment for our souls and spirits in His Word, so that we can be strengthened in our inner man. He keeps our bodies alive and well, and supplies us with energy, endurance and stamina. The Lord provides us with His wisdom to solve even our most complex problems. He leads and guides us into our divine destinies, so that we can optimally serve Him and one another.

Whatever we might require in the way of natural talents and abilities to be successful, will be granted to us by almighty God. If we ask Him for specific insight and understanding, He will always reveal that to us. The Lord imbues us with His very own power and authority, so we can be all that He intended for us to be. He delights in the fact that His people depend on Him for all they need.

The Lord is our source for all good things – both temporal and spiritual. Whatever we might lack will be supplied to us. All we must do is approach Him with deference and respect, boldness and expectancy. He will always acknowledge our requests and respond appropriately. He will never deny us ready access to the throne of grace if we are continually righteous, loving and obedient to Him.

Matthew 18:19 "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

Jesus Christ taught us that there is real power inherent in the prayers of the righteous. If two or more of us will gather together and agree in prayer, then the Lord will pay particular attention to our request. There is a special anointing available in corporate prayer that is not present in our private petitions. Whenever we join forces and make requests in Christ's name, He will always intercede for us.

The Lord wants all of us to dwell in love, peace and unity. He cannot respond to the prayers of His people if we are in strife or division of any kind, because our righteousness is then in question. We will have to make a concerted effort to forgive and forget all wrongs done to us. We must neither give offense, nor take it, if we wish our prayers to be acknowledged and answered on a timely basis.

When we operate in selfishness or unforgiveness, we hinder our own prayer requests. None of us is totally justified in our own strength. We need the righteousness that only our faith in Christ affords us. We have been redeemed from all of our sins, and we must never forget the price that was paid on our behalf. We have an obligation to always remain sin free and be fully obedient to the Lord.

If we want to be certain that all our prayers for others and ourselves are answered, we should always pray in faith, and rest assured that the Lord will respond to us. Christ taught us to pray and believe that we receive everything that we request. We should have holy boldness and approach the Lord without fear, doubt or unbelief of any kind and see miracles happen right before our very eyes.

Jesus as Intercessor

John 16:23-27 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God."

The Lord, Jesus Christ, is always available to hear all of our prayers and intercede for us with His heavenly Father. Because we have believed in the Son of God and loved Him, the Father will be diligent to reward us for our faithfulness and devotion. We can approach the throne of grace without fear, shame, guilt or condemnation of any kind. If we are righteous and obedient, then God will always answer our prayers.

Believers are actually seated in heavenly places with Christ at the right hand of almighty God Himself. We have rights and privileges that we have not even begun to explore. We need not grovel and beg to have our prayers heard. There is nothing that the Lord will ever withhold from us if we pray in Jesus' name and remain in right standing with Him. We will have all of our spiritual and temporal needs met in abundance.

God loves us with a deep, abiding love. We are His very own sons and daughters if we have made Christ the Lord of our lives. He will move heaven and earth to nurture and protect us. He is always generous to those who depend on Him and walk in His ways. He will make certain that we are healthy, happy and prosperous now and in the Kingdom to come. We will never lack for any good thing for all of eternity.

John 14:13-14 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]."

We have Christ's very own personal guarantee that all of our prayers will be heard and answered. Jesus is seated at the right hand of His heavenly Father and He will always intervene in the lives of those who believe in Him and trust Him to meet all their needs. He assures us that we can ask anything in His name and it will be granted to us. He will never deny our requests or make us settle for second-best.

However, we can never be deliberately disobedient and expect God to come through for us. Our part is to remain sin free and righteous at all times. If we keep all the commandments and walk in love, we can ask whatever we will, and it shall be done for us according to Christ's promise. He will always hear the prayers of the faithful and supply our needs above and beyond all that we could ever ask or think.

Our Lord and Savior knows first-hand what it is like to be human and in need. He always prayed and sought assistance from His Father when He walked on this earth. He is ever merciful and compassionate to our dependence on Him as His disciples. He will not ever abandon us for any reason. We will have all of our needs met in abundance, so that our God is forever glorified in His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

We have divine destinies; we are sons and daughters of almighty God. We were called and chosen from the very foundation of the world to serve the Lord and His people. Christ has given us a divine commission to resume His ministry where He left off. We will require supernatural talents and abilities, so that we can be totally successful in all that we are assigned to do.

We can always pray and ask for anything that we need be to be given to us, as long as we pray in Jesus Christ's name. The Lord will be quick to respond to every call, and supply all that we require to be totally victorious in all that we say and do. He will assign legions of ministering angels to back us up. We will have all the resources of this universe available to us.

We will be anointed with divine power and authority to discharge all of our duties to perfection in the critical days that lie ahead. We will preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and gather in the full, end-time harvest of souls. We will heal the sick of all their afflictions and cast out demons that keep men in bondage to sin and evil. We will even raise the dead back to life.

We will see the fate of all mankind positively affected. Men will learn to walk in love, peace and unity through our efforts. We will eliminate all strife and division that exist among us. There will be no more wars, violence or conflict in this world. We will eradicate greed and covetousness; abolish poverty and lack. Men will share what they have with those in need.

We will usher heaven itself into the earth realm in the everlasting Kingdom of God. Very soon now Christ will be able to return to us and He will judge all men and angels. He will banish all the wicked from His Kingdom and reward those of us who are righteous and faithful to serve Him and His people. We will share in His very own honor and glory for all of eternity.

Confidence in Prayer

1John 3:22 "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."

Our heavenly Father is ever merciful and gracious to us in our time of need. If we cry out to Him in our desperation, He will always respond. He never ignores our requests or minimizes the importance of them in our lives. He is always attentive and faithful to answer us as quickly as possible. However, there are conditions placed on our receiving what we need from God.

We have to make certain that we are totally righteous and have remained sin free. We should be walking in love and be obedient to all of the commandments. We can never be in rebellion and expect the Lord to bless us. He provides for His own beloved sons and daughters, but will turn His back on those who defy Him and rely on their human strength to satisfy all they need.

The Lord is a fair and just God. He will not tolerate any of us being deliberately disobedient to Him. He gets our attention most effectively when we sin. He will ignore those who ignore Him and wait for us to come to our senses again. If we continue to be wicked and selfish, we will be left to our own devices. Our God will not lower His absolute moral standards for any of us.

Matthew 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

We can have total faith and confidence that the Lord hears all of our prayers for ourselves and for others. If we pray with hope and expectancy, then He will be pleased by our boldness. Our heavenly Father is always merciful and gracious to us in our time of need. He is well aware of the human condition and He knows that we often struggle against all odds just to survive in this world.

He did not put us here so that we can fend for ourselves. He delights in our coming to Him for all that we require. If it is divine wisdom that we seek, He will always supply us with knowledge and understanding, so that we can be successful in all of our endeavors. If we have health concerns, He is our Healer. If we require material means to meet temporal needs these will be forthcoming.

There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from His people. He is a loving and generous God and shares all that He has with us. He has an inexhaustible supply of resources available and nothing is impossible to Him. All that we need do is protect our right standing with Him, so that our prayers are not hindered. We can rely on almighty God to do His part, if we will do ours.

We should pray in faith; state our case clearly; put a demand on the Word of God and all of its promises; and we will see astounding results. Every answer to prayer is a miracle in and of itself. It is beyond our comprehension that an omnipotent God would take time and effort to supply the needs of mere men. It is a credit to His awesome love, power and ability that He answers our prayers.

1John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

The closer we are in our personal relationship with almighty God, the more confident we become that He will meet all our needs, many times even before we ask Him. He is ever solicitous to the welfare of His people. He created us to depend upon Him for all that we require to sustain life and be healthy, happy and content. He has made advance provision for all of our needs and is ever ready to respond to emergencies.

The Lord always hears the cries of His children and He never ignores us. He stands ready to respond to our slightest request. No matter is too serious or any detail of our lives so inconsequential that the Lord does not want to be involved in it. He has a real heart for those who are in need of any kind and He will always come through for us. Our fervent, persistent prayers are always powerful for generating positive results.

We can pray with total faith that all we request will be supplied in abundance. We need never fear that we will have unmet needs or be left to our own devices. The Lord is devoted to us because we are loving, righteous and obedient, as He has taught us. If we have done our part, then He will do His. We have a permanent covenant with almighty God and He has sworn that He will always honor it to the fullest extent.

Very soon now, the Lord will gather us to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of God. He has a perfect plan in place for our eternal well-being. We will dwell in His very presence and bask in His love and divine providence. He will make certain that we live forever in peace and prosperity. He will protect us from all harm and take vengeance on all of our enemies. We will have joy and freedom for all of eternity.

The everlasting Kingdom of God will be the answer to all our prayers and the solution to all our problems. The Lord will supply all that we need to be happy and content. We will have safety and security, health and longevity and dwell in love, peace and unity with one another as brothers and sisters. We are going back to the original perfection of the Garden of Eden, and we will dwell in a literal paradise on this earth.
