Dedication:
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any
twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.”
May we all know, obey and speak the Word of God that changes our lives
forever!
Preface:
Psalm 119:133
“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over
me.”
The Word of God is His will for mankind.
It is written down in a book that has stood the test of time for
thousands of years. The Bible is the Lord’s personal instruction manual
to His people. It tells us what He thinks on every subject imaginable.
It chronicles the history of the human race and records our victories
and defeats. It warns us of things to come and promises us a bright and
hopeful future.
If we read and comprehend the Holy
Scriptures we will discover the Lord’s wisdom and revelation for every
conceivable problem and perplexity that we might ever face in our
lives. If we heed His advice we will make fewer mistakes. We will
always derive meaning and purpose from His guidance and direction to
us. We will be empowered, as never before, and be able to embrace our
divine destinies.
The words of almighty God are powerful
beyond our mere human comprehension. With words, He created the entire
universe, and by them He will destroy all wickedness and evil off the
face of the earth. If we apply ourselves to study God’s Word, we will
become all that the Lord has designed us to be. If we say only what God
says and do what He tells us to do, we will change the fate of all
mankind.
Ezekiel 12:28 “Therefore say unto
them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged
any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord
GOD.”
Our words that line up with God’s words
have real, tangible power and authority and we must learn to be careful
in how we use them. We can never speak rashly or we could see
devastating results generated. We will have to obtain divine knowledge
in the critical days that lie ahead. We can and we will impact all of
mankind with our faith-based words that correspond to God’s very own.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ will be
preached to every man, woman and child in every race, tongue and
nation. No one who is receptive to its message will be denied the free
gift of eternal life. We will baptize countless numbers in Jesus’ name
and gather in the full end-time harvest of souls that is necessary. No
one will perish for lack of knowledge in the Word of almighty God.
We will challenge all world governments
to eliminate war, violence and conflict and establish peace and unity.
We will eradicate poverty and lack by persuading men to share with those
in need. We will decree God’s will to all of creation so that plants
and animals are in harmony with one another and subject to man. There
will be no natural disasters that cause devastation and destruction.
The very words that we speak will be our
weapons of warfare. We will heal all those who are sick and afflicted
in any way. We will cast out demons that hold men in bondage to
temptation and sin, and free them to the glorious liberty of the sons of
God. We will even raise the dead back to life once again. We will
overcome all evil with good through the power of our words.
Romans 10:17
“So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Our faith must always be built on the
Word of God. The Bible is our final authority in all matters that
pertain to righteousness and godliness. It settles all disputes in our
relationships with God and with one another. Faith comes only from a
thorough knowledge of the Word and will of almighty God Himself, as it
is written in the Scriptures. We should feed on God’s words until they
sink deep within our spirits and come out of our mouths to change what
we see manifested into reality.
The Word of God
is powerful for revealing lies and deception. It drives out chaos and
confusion, dispels all darkness and destruction. It creates life,
peace, hope and joy in those who are exposed to it. It destroys demonic
strongholds that would oppress us in any way, and has the ability to
save our souls from eternal condemnation and punishment. God’s words
will change our lives as nothing else can, so that men can be all that
they were intended to be from the very creation of the world.
In the days to
come, we will share our faith in the Word of God and speak all that He
tells us, so that many others can be saved to eternal life. The entire
earth will be evangelized and we will see the Kingdom of God introduced
to all of mankind. Jesus Christ will soon return to us for His eternal
rule and reign. We will be appointed kings and priests of God and judge
both men and angels. The Lord will share His honor and glory with all
those who have magnified His Word above all things!
Introduction:
Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of
God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do
appear.”
Jesus Christ is
the Word of God made man, the only Son of almighty God Himself. He was
present with the Father from the foundation of the world, and by Him,
all things were made. He created the entire universe simply by speaking
and actualizing the very thoughts and words of our sovereign God. With
powerful words spoken out of His mouth, both heaven and the earth were
established..
His words alone
were His tools of creativity. The Lord uttered only those things that
would be positive and constructive to His purpose. He did not waver in
His faith, nor hesitate in His declarations. He simply decreed what He
wanted to see and it came into manifestation. Everything that was made
came into being because He vocalized it. He designed the entire
universe; nothing happened by accident..
The Lord spoke
words of light and life to the dark void that existed and totally
changed His environment. His words were powerful and beneficial for
generating life in all of its various forms, as we know it today.
Plants, animals, and even man himself, resulted from what the Lord spoke
into reality. He put pure love, wisdom and power into action and
started a chain of events that impacted all of eternity.
Genesis 1:27 “So
God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.”
Man was created
in the very image and likeness of God Himself. He was a spirit being
given human form, but like God in all other respects. The Lord named
him Adam, gave him a mate and placed him in a literal paradise to enjoy
for all time. However, man eventually sinned and rebelled against God.
He lost his right standing with his Creator, and forfeited his power and
dominion over the entire earth..
The first man
brought sin and death into the equation to spoil God’s perfect plans for
us. Because of his disobedience, the entire human race has had to
suffer. We are estranged from God and require salvation for our sin
guilt. None of us is righteous in our own strength. All of mankind
needs to be restored to its original relationship with almighty God, or
face eternal condemnation and punishment..
The Lord knew all
this and developed an alternate plan for our express benefit. He sent
His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to redeem all mankind once and
for all time. The Law required death as a penalty for sin. It took one
perfect man to act on our behalf to serve as our substitute and return
righteousness, power and dominion to us, so that we could be set free to
inherit all the blessings of eternal life.
2Corinthians 5:19
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not
imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word
of reconciliation.”
Jesus Christ is
God in all respects, yet He voluntarily chose to come to this earth in
human form to save us from all of our transgression. He did not come to
condemn us, but to restore us to right standing with God for all time.
His mission was to redeem all of mankind and to teach us God’s way of
doing things. Our Lord and Savior actually took on all of our iniquity
and sin debt as if it were His very own, and died a horrific death just
for us, so that we do not have to suffer the penalty of death..
It is only
through a sincere faith in Christ, as the living Word of God Himself,
that we can be set free from all of our sins and receive the gift of
eternal life. We must believe that Jesus came to this earth, suffered,
died, was buried, and then rose again from the dead, so that we could be
permanently reconciled with our God. If we believe what the Word tells
us, and speak it out of our mouths, we will be born again in our spirit
man and become eligible to enter into the everlasting Kingdom of God..
There is no way
that any of us can be saved without a genuine faith in what God tells
us. If we do not accept the truth and believe in Jesus Christ and all
that He did for us, we will be eternally punished. If we are ignorant
of the Word of God and continually rebellious, we will be cast into the
lake of fire. There will be no second chances given to anyone. We must
know what God says and believe it with all our hearts or perish. Our
eternal fate is dependent upon our obedience to the Word at all times.
John 14:23 “Jesus
answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and
my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode
with him.”
We must give the
Word of God the honor and prominence that it deserves. It is God’s
express will for all of mankind. It reveals His explicit instructions,
so that we can live our lives according to His perfect way of doing
things. The Word is a gift to us and lights our paths, so that we no
longer walk in darkness and deception. It encourages us in our faith
and gives us hope and confidence for our future..
The Lord’s feelings for man are revealed
in His Word. He has a deep, abiding love for us and He desires that we
be in intimate fellowship with Him. However, He cannot abide with evil
because He is all holy. We need to totally sanctify ourselves to be in
His presence. His words show us the way to achieve true righteousness and godliness. They will
help us to enhance our relationship with our Creator..
Very soon now, the Lord will usher heaven
itself into the earth realm in the everlasting Kingdom of God. There
will no longer be a separation between God and man. He will actually
come to this world to dwell with us. If we have adequately prepared
ourselves and obeyed His Word, we will enjoy blessings of peace and
prosperity, safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom
for all eternity.
