Psalm 119:130
“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto
the simple.”
The words of almighty God are
powerful beyond our wildest imagination. With words He created the
entire universe. They were His only tools to form everything out of
nothing. He spoke out of infinite wisdom, and both the heavens and the
earth were established. He simply uttered words that were in His loving
heart, and all creatures that exist today were designed to total
perfection.
God’s words are light and life to all who hear them. He makes the
crooked way straight and puts the impossible within man’s reach. Even
though we were once condemned to death as a penalty for our
transgressions, we are set free by the Word of almighty God Himself. He
has decreed that if we believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, and all that He
did for us, that we are saved to eternal life.
With words the Lord created mankind and with words He sustains us.
Everything that proceeds out of the mouth of our all-knowing God has a
distinct meaning and purpose. He is determined to share all that He is
and all that He has with us. We have mercy, grace and favor with Him.
The words that He speaks redeem us; convict us of any shortcomings; and
lead us into righteousness and godliness.
Proverbs 1:23
“Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I
will make known my words unto you.”
The
Lord speaks to men and gives them awesome, spiritual gifts, so that they
can be all that they are called to be. He created us in His very own
image and likeness, and we have power and authority to speak what He
says and do what He tells us. Our words that line up with those of
almighty God are true dynamos, capable of changing our world and
everyone in it to conform to His wishes.
We
have divine destinies to fulfill as His sons and daughters. We have to
overcome all evil with good, so that Jesus Christ can return to rule and
reign. We will speak God’s awesome words and see dramatic results in
every area of our lives. We will introduce the government of God and
His justice system. All of mankind will be impacted by our words, and
the Lord will be glorified in us.
Words will be our tools for creativity and our weapons for spiritual
warfare. We will bring blessings to the earth and destroy all evil by
overcoming it with good. We will bind Satan and all of his minions, so
that there is peace, order and stability everywhere. There will be no
more war, violence, conflict, poverty and lack. We will establish God’s
express will on earth for all mankind to benefit.
Exodus 4:15 “And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth:
and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you
what ye shall do.”
The whole world will be revolutionized by
the Word of God, as it is spoken through His people. We will reveal His
law in all of its power and authority. His way of thinking and doing
things will be implemented everywhere. We will bring order and
stability to all of our human affairs. There will be no more strife and
division that separate us from one another or displease our heavenly
Father.
All
of creation will be positively affected by our faith-based words. We
will command harmony in the plant and animal kingdoms and speak to the
climate, so that it is always temperate and predictable. We will
reverse all the negative effects of pollution, and restore all of nature
back to its original beauty and balance. The earth and everything in it
will be purged, cleansed and purified of all evil.
If
we diligently study the Word of God and speak only what He speaks, we
will be able to usher in the Kingdom of God in all of its glory. We
will literally alter the face of the entire planet and prepare the
hearts of all mankind to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
The Word will change lives as nothing else can, and release men from
their sins to the blessings of eternal life.
Job 22:22 “Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his
words in thine heart.”
The
Word of God will set the perfect standard for our lives. We will tear
down all demonic strongholds and establish Kingdom principles of
fairness and justice for all. We will speak to all world governments
and insist that they abolish war, violence and conflict in their
dealings with one another. We will eradicate all poverty and lack, and
introduce peace, prosperity and security to everyone.
We
will give all mankind hope for their future and demonstrate the very
love, mercy and compassion of God Himself. Men will be delivered from
their bondage to sin and evil. We will lay hands on the sick and they
will be healed. We will tear down all demonic strongholds. We will
even raise the dead back to life again, if we speak the Word of almighty
God in all of its power and authority.
All
of creation will respond to our faith-filled words and be restored to
its original beauty and balance. We will command everything to line up
with the Word of God and be in perfect harmony. The climate will be
regulated, so that there are no more natural catastrophes. Plants and
animals will be totally compatible with one another and subject to man
again, as they once were in the Garden of Eden.
Deuteronomy 4:2 “Ye shall not add
unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought]
from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I
command you.”
Our words have the inherent ability to
create or destroy. We will not ever add or subtract from what God tells
us. We will be totally obedient to say and do all that He requires of
us. We will fulfill our divine destinies as His very own sons and
daughters. If we are fully cooperative with Him, we will change the
fate of the entire world. All mankind will be challenged with the
truth.
We will utterly destroy Satan and all of
his efforts to oppress men and keep them in bondage to sin and evil. We
will share our faith with power and conviction, so that all those who
are open to repent of their sins and be baptized in Jesus’ name will be
set free. We will make the awesome Word of God available to all men,
women and children who are willing to receive it as their own.
The Lord wants to gather us into the
Kingdom of God, and we will make certain that everyone has an equal
opportunity to receive its blessings. Every race, tongue and nation
will hear His Word and be touched by it. The Gospel will change lives
forever and entitle many souls to receive the gift of eternal life. We
will teach men to obey the commandments and show love for God and
others.
We will speak God’s words and heal all
those who are sick and afflicted among us. The blind will see; the deaf
will hear; and the lame will walk through our efforts. We will cast out
all demons that torment men and even raise the dead back to life once
again, as Christ Himself did. Nothing will be impossible to us, if we
know the Word and speak it out of our mouths, as the Lord directs us.
The Power Of The Tongue
Ecclesiastes
5:2 “Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to
utter [any] thing before God: for God [is] in heaven, and thou upon
earth: therefore let thy words be few.”
We can never speak an idle word or we
will be held accountable by almighty God. He can strip us of power just
as surely as He conferred it upon us. Our words are creative tools and
weapons of spiritual warfare. We have to be fully instructed in the use
of our tongues, or we could generate horrible, negative consequences to
our lives and the lives of others.
Careless words could bring devastation
and destruction on us. Vows made in haste can come back to haunt us.
Harsh words could cause a spirit of offense to come between us.
Critical, judgmental words can bring strife and division. Frivolous
words are simply a waste of time and energy. Our words have to always
be righteous and godly, so that they are productive.
The Lord backs up our faith-based words
that line up with His very own. If we say what God says, we can be
assured of great success in all of our situations and circumstances.
However, if we speak against the Word of God, we will see detrimental
results from our disobedience. We must guard our tongues at all times
and be diligent to decree the Word verbatim.
The more we become accustomed to God’s
way of doing things, the greater the likelihood that we will prevail in
all that we think, say and do on His behalf. We should seek the Lord
for what we say. We can overcome the world, our flesh and the devil
simply by being disciplined in what we speak. Our words must be
carefully chosen to achieve the desired results.
Proverbs 13:3
“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide
his lips shall have destruction.”
The devil hates the Word of God and all
that is represents to him. He knows that the words of our mouth either
support God’s Word or oppose it. He would like nothing more than to
play us out of position, so that we sin with our mouths and speak
rashly. We cannot succumb to that type of temptation. We have been
given a sacred charge to speak only what God wants vocalized.
We should be slow to anger, regardless of
the provocation, and never speak any retaliation. The Lord insists that
we humble ourselves and forgive and forget all that others do to us. He
will take vengeance on our enemies and vindicate us Himself. We need
not rise up, combat others and settle our own scores. To do so can have
disastrous results for all those who are concerned.
Those who speak against the Word of God
risk eternal condemnation for lawlessness and rebellion. We cannot join
in with them, or we will also be held accountable. Our mouths are to be
used for godly purposes – to glorify God and bless others. We will be
justified or condemned by our words for all of eternity. We will all
face judgment for our works and our words.
Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it
shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Our words that line up with those of
almighty God will be powerful for destroying all evil and overcoming it
with good. We will vocalize exactly what God tells us and see
miraculous results generated all around us. All world governments will
be restructured and reorganized as a result of our commands to line up
with principles of fairness and justice for all mankind. We will
establish peace on the earth, as the Lord intends.
There will be no more poverty and lack
that is driven by materialism, greed and covetousness. We will speak to
men’s hearts and encourage them to share all that they have with
others. The wealth of the wicked will ultimately be redistributed to
the righteous. No one will ever suffer from unmet needs again. The
sons of God will make certain that all the resources of the universe are
fairly and equally distributed to everyone.
All of nature will be orderly and stable
once again, as a result of our faith-based words that are spoken in
divine power and authority. We will decree total harmony to all the
plants and animals. There will be no more predatory activities that
harm any of God’s creatures. We will reverse the effects of all
pollution, and declare the climate to be regulated, so there are no more
natural disasters that bring destruction to the earth.
Everything that we utter from our mouths
will have a significant meaning and an exact purpose in the critical
days that lie ahead. We will accomplish great feats for the Lord, if we
are obedient to His Word and careful what we speak into existence. Our
words will be fruitful and accomplish all that God intends. The Lord
will be glorified in us, and generously reward us for our devoted
service to Him and His people.
Words That Offend God
James 3:2 “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in
word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole
body.”
The
sons and daughters of almighty God have been given a sacred charge. We
are to speak what the Lord wants spoken on this earth and see dramatic
results from our words. If we fail to do what is expected of us,
important work will remain undone. We cannot sin with our tongues in
any way, shape or form. We can never succumb to gossip, criticism or
idle chatter.
The
Lord is infinitely patient and merciful to His people, but He definitely
has no tolerance for deliberate disobedience, lawlessness and
rebellion. He is not a God of compromise. He has absolute standards
for all that we think, say and do. If we abide by His Word and obey all
of His commandments to us, we will continually maintain our right
standing with Him.
None of us is perfect; we all make mistakes and fall short of the glory
of God. What separates us one from another is our reaction to our sin.
If we immediately repent of all wrongdoing and ask the Lord for His
forgiveness, he will be quick to respond to us. He will always restore
us to right standing with Him if we are truly remorseful and renounce
all of our sins.
We
can never make excuses for our bad behavior and expect the Lord to
overlook it. His Word says that we must have faith in Jesus Christ, be
obedient to His commandments and walk in love, or face eternal
damnation. If any of those are lacking in us, we can be certain that we
will be judged and held accountable. Soon there will be no more
opportunity to repent.
Proverbs 6:2
“Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the
words of thy mouth.”
If our words do not coincide with what
God would speak, we will be punished. He will not permit us to sin with
our mouths and injure one another or offend Him. He created us to be
talking spirits in His very own image and likeness, and He cannot allow
us to do damage with our words. We have been given a great privilege
to be able to speak the Word of God to those around us.
We should always guard what we say, to
ensure that we remain righteous and godly at all times. We must also be
circumspect of what we hear others say, so it does not contaminate us in
any way. What goes in our ears, gets down into our hearts and comes out
of our very own mouths. It is wise to be particular about what we hear
and speak, so that we prevent defilement to our spirit.
Believers are to be in the world, but not
of it. We are expected to crucify our fleshly lusts and forego all our
selfish soul ambitions. We must put our spirit man in ascendancy to our
body and soul and be godly role models at all times, so that we can lead
others to the Lord. If we imitate the laid down life of Jesus Christ,
we will be totally victorious in all that we think, say and do.
He was eminently successful in all that
He did, because He took time to pray and hear from His Father. Jesus
never spoke in His own human wisdom, but relied on almighty God to tell
Him what to say on every occasion. He was fully obedient to the Word of
God and careful to speak it as He was instructed. We should do
likewise, if we wish to be effective in our earthly ministry.
Malachi 2:17
“Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we
wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the
sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of
judgment?”
The Word of God is sharper than any
two-edged sword, and cuts right to the heart of every matter. We dare
not insult the Lord with words that minimize sin or encourage
unrighteousness of any kind. He is not interested in excuses for our
bad behavior or that of those who are still in the world. Sin is sin,
and it requires payback. The penalty for sin is death and if we are not
remorseful, the Lord will be compelled to relegate us to eternal
damnation for our sin guilt.
We can never distort the Word of almighty
God or pollute His Gospel message in any way. It is powerful for
convicting men of their sins and exhorting them to accept the truth. We
cannot alter the Word or put our own twist on it. That opens us up to
the charge of heresy. There are many false teachers who will be
banished to the lake of fire for perverting God’s words to the detriment
of others. The Word of God is sacred and inviolable and the Lord will
defend it.
Very soon now, Jesus Christ will return
to us to rule and reign in His everlasting Kingdom. He will not be a
babe in the manger or the meek and mild Lamb of God this time. He has
vengeance in His heart to punish all wrongdoers. He will judge each of
us to determine whether we are righteous or evil. No one will escape
His scrutiny or persuade Him to lower His perfect, impeccable
standards. Anyone who has corrupted God’s Word will be severely
punished.
Psalm 59:12
“[For] the sin of their mouth [and] the words of their lips let them
even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying [which] they
speak.”
All those who have sinned against
almighty God and spoken proud and arrogant words will be held strictly
accountable. Those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit in any way will not
escape punishment. All word curses and lies will be severely judged.
Words of fear, doubt or unbelief will generate the Lord’s reprisal.
Flattering, deceitful words that entice others to sin will not be
overlooked. Any perversion of the Word that comes out of our mouths
will be refuted.
The Lord will punish all wrongdoers that
abuse their tongues for evil. He will banish them to the eternal lake
of fire, where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth for all
time. He expects us all to obey His commandments and speak the truth
with one another. We should use the words of our mouth to glorify God
and bless men at all times and under all situations and circumstances.
We can never distort the Word and expect to be held unaccountable for
it.
The greater God’s gift to us, the higher
His expectations for its usage. We are responsible to speak words that
line up with the very words of God Himself. We have genuine power and
authority that has been conferred on us and we can never misuse it. We
must speak the uncompromised Word of God and set men free in the truth
of it, so that they can be saved to eternal life just as we are. The
Gospel is eminently able to deliver them of all their transgressions.
Words That Please God
2Timothy 1:13
“Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in
faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
God’s Word is light and life to all who
hear it. We pay Him the highest compliment when we speak His words out
of our mouths to enrich and encourage others. He will always back up
our words that line up with His very own. We can be certain that they
will never return to us void of power. They will succeed in everything
that they were meant to accomplish.
If we are mature sons and daughters of
almighty God who have been entrusted with His words, we must be diligent
to share what we hear with others. We should preach the Gospel of the
Kingdom of God in all of its power and see men released from their
bondage to sin and evil. We are obligated to preach the Word, so that
others can receive the free gift of eternal life.
We must give all of mankind hope for
their future. No matter how bleak and dismal things might become, the
Lord has a perfect plan in place for our eternal welfare. This world
will never end, but it will line up with the Word of God. Everything
will have to be cleansed and purified, so that we can usher heaven into
the earth realm in the everlasting Kingdom of God.
When the full number of souls is gathered
in the end-time harvest, the Lord will give the command for heaven to be
brought to this earth. He will actually come and dwell with us for all
of eternity. There will be no good thing that we lack in His awesome
presence. He will grant us all peace and prosperity, safety and
security, health and longevity, joy and freedom.
Matthew 10:27
“What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear
in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.”
We must share this good news with
others. We are light and salt in a dark and troubled world. We cannot
just be content with our own salvation. We have a responsibility to
serve others, a sacred charge that has been given to us by Jesus Christ
Himself. We are to walk like He walked on this earth, and resume His
ministry where He left off when He went to be with His heavenly Father.
Christ shared the good news of the
Kingdom with all whom He met. He forgave men their sins and healed the
sick with the power of His words. He cast out demons and made men
whole. He even raised the dead back to life again through words that
mirrored those of His Father. Jesus was the consummate Word of almighty
God Himself, and we have been chosen to follow in His footsteps.
We are the Body of Christ on the earth –
His hands, feet and voice to all of humanity. Our function in the
critical days ahead should not be minimized. We must share our faith,
so that others can be set free as we have been. We have to confront all
wickedness that we see and exhort men to seek the truth in the Word of
God. We must be godly role models and warn all mankind of His judgment.
Our words that line up with God’s Word
will deliver men from their bondage to sin and evil and heal them of all
their afflictions. There will be no sick and infirm among us, as we
enter into Christ’s everlasting Kingdom. We will destroy demonic
strongholds that impede our work and overcome all evil with good.
Nothing will be impossible to us if we wield the Word of God in all its
power.
Zechariah 8:16
“These [are] the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth
to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your
gates:”
We will speak to all world
governments and challenge them in their political and social policies.
We will eliminate all wars and violence and abolish all injustice. Men
will be treated with fairness, dignity and respect, as the Lord
requires. There will be no more poverty and lack when we confront the
wicked and speak the Word to them, which insists that they share with
others in need.
There will soon be peace, order and stability established in all of our
human affairs. Men will learn to walk in love and unity and care for
one another, as they do themselves. We will teach them to obey all of
God’s commandments, so that their lives can go well for them now and in
the Kingdom to come. The entire world will be cleansed and purified, so
that it lines up with the will of God.
The
Lord will be pleased with all of our efforts on His behalf and
ultimately give the command for heaven to be ushered into the earth
realm in the Kingdom of God. We will dwell with both men and angels and
our heavenly Father will come and take up residence here. There will be
no more separation between us. He will be our God and we will be the
people who are called by His holy name.
Words With A Purpose
Isaiah 50:4
“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should
know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth
morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.”
God’s words always have a specific meaning, purpose and intent. They
are never just random comments that lack power and authority. The Lord
backs up His Word with His personal oath, so that it will not return to
Him void. Our words that line up with His own will accomplish mighty
feats in the days to come. We have been given a sacred charge to speak
light and life to all with whom we come in contact.
If
we are sensitive to the Word of God and obedient to speak it out of our
own mouths, we will see the fruit of it positively affect all of
mankind. It offers hope and encouragement to those who are weary. It
enlightens those who are in darkness and deception, and exhorts those
who have strayed from the path that the Lord intends for them. It has
the power to save us from all of our sins and bring us eternal life.
When we speak what God tells us, we see miracles abound everywhere. The
wicked and unrepentant turn towards Him and ask for forgiveness. Those
who are oppressed and in bondage to sin and evil are set free. Many are
sanctified in the truth, so that they can embrace their divine destinies
and serve almighty God and His people. If we are diligent to speak
every word that the Lord tells us, we can change the world.
Our
role is to usher in the everlasting Kingdom of God, so that His will can
be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Everything will have to be
cleansed and purified before Christ returns to us. We must be diligent
to speak God’s words that decree and declare His wishes. All of
creation is waiting for the revealing of the sons of God, so we can
bring liberty to the captives and introduce global peace, order and
stability.
Jeremiah 5:14
“Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word,
behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood,
and it shall devour them.”
We will challenge all world governments
to line up with God’s Word and His will for us. Leaders will be
confronted with the truth; wars, violence and conflict only lead to our
demise. We will bring only justice and equality to all of our human
affairs, if we diligently speak God’s Word in all its power and
authority. His way of doing things will ultimately be established on
the earth.
All wickedness will soon be revealed and
abolished. Men will no longer oppress one another with power and greed
as their motives. Those who attempt to harm or defile their fellow man
in any way will be punished for all time. The Lord will not tolerate
His people being destroyed by anyone – man or devil. He will vindicate
us Himself and take vengeance on all of our enemies.
There will be no more strife and division
among us. Poverty and lack will be eliminated, as the wealth of the
universe is redistributed. All social injustice will be a thing of the
past. Men everywhere will be treated with fairness, dignity and
respect. We will dwell in love and unity with one another, as the Lord
desires, and He will gather us into the everlasting Kingdom of God.
Titus 2:11-15
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us
from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of
good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all
authority. Let no man despise thee.”
Believers know the truth and are expected
to walk in it at all times. We are the sons and daughters of almighty
God Himself with divine destinies to fulfill. We have been bought with
a dear price, the Blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will serve the
Lord with zeal and conviction, and minister in love, mercy and
compassion to others. We will speak His words with divine power and
authority and overcome all evil.
We have an obligation to warn mankind of
the impending judgment that will come on all men and even angels. The
Lord, Jesus Christ, will soon return to us. He has vengeance in His
heart and He will destroy all the ungodly in this world. We will all be
subjected to a strict scrutiny for our works in the flesh. No one will
be exempt from eternal punishment if they have disobeyed God or hurt His
people in any way.
The Lord has perfect, impeccable
standards for our behavior. He will not tolerate deliberate rebellion
in any of us. If we are disobedient and committed to sin and evil, we
will perish in the eternal lake of fire. Only those who walk in love
and keep all of God’s commandments will be spared His wrath in the days
to come. He will gather all of the righteous to Himself in the Kingdom
of God and bless us for all eternity.
There is no good thing that we will ever
lack. We will have endless peace and prosperity. The Lord will supply
all our needs, even before we ask Him. He will change our bodies into
glorious, resurrection forms that live forever free of disease and
death. He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and restore all
that has been lost to us over the years. We will dwell with Him forever
more in a literal paradise on this earth.
1Timothy 6:3-5 “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome
words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine
which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but
doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy,
strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt
minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:
from such withdraw thyself.”
Darkness and deception will cover the earth just before Christ’s return
to us. We must share our faith as the Lord arranges our contacts,
so that others can be set free in the truth. The Gospel of Jesus
Christ must be preached to all mankind, so that no one perishes for lack
of knowledge. It alone has the power to save men from their sins,
so that they can receive the free gift of eternal life.
God’s Word is immutable and it will not return to Him void. If we
obey all of His commandments and walk in love, we will inherit the
Kingdom of God and all its many blessings. However, if we refuse
to accept the powerful doctrine of salvation and persist in doing evil,
we will be permanently condemned in our own ignorance and rebellion and
be punished in the lake of fire.
Many false teachers will arise in the days to come, the Bible tells us.
They will try to refute God’s words and spread lies that will ultimately
lead others into perdition. They excuse sin and glorify
themselves, instead of almighty God. Their words will not help us
as we enter into all of eternity. We must purposely choose to
believe the uncompromised Word of God, and that alone.
Each of us has the personal responsibility to study God’s Word and abide
by sound doctrine. We cannot be seduced by flattering lips that
care nothing for our eternal welfare. We must expose all lies and
separate ourselves from those who dilute the truth or pervert the Gospel
message. It is only through a sincere faith in Jesus Christ, and
all that He did for us, that we can
be redeemed.
How Jesus Used Words
Matthew 13:34
“All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and
without a parable spake he not unto them:”
Jesus knew how very precious and powerful
His words were to all those who heard them. He did not share God’s
wisdom and revelation with just anyone. He could discern the thoughts
and hearts of all men and He only spoke the truth to those whom He knew
would eventually receive Him. He spoke in parables to the masses, so
that His words would not be challenged or refuted in any way.
Our Lord and Savior loved all of mankind,
but He did not waste His time teaching those who were firmly committed
to sin and evil. He revealed the truth only to those who were eager and
receptive to it. He taught repentance to those who were sincere and
contrite in heart. He gave instruction regarding the Lord’s
commandments and encouraged all His followers to be loving and obedient.
Christ spoke the Word of God in all of it
power and authority, and many were amazed at His teaching. He was a
diligent student of the Old Testament Himself, and He urged His
disciples to study the Word of God for their own benefit. Jesus knew
that we need the guidance and direction that only almighty God could
provide. He only spoke what He was told to speak by His heavenly
Father.
John 8:47 “He
that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear [them] not,
because ye are not of God.”
Christ was constantly challenged in His
public ministry. He faced fear, doubt and unbelief everywhere He went.
The average person tuned Him out. The religious leaders of His day
labeled Him a rebel. They called Him a liar and a blasphemer even
though He spoke the pure Word of God. Although He was totally obedient,
and only spoke and did what He was instructed to do, Jesus suffered
recrimination for His words.
He was continually threatened by those in
the government and church hierarchy. They plotted and schemed to
silence Him any way that they could. Christ was on a mission from
almighty God Himself and He could not be deterred or detained until He
had finished His work in its entirety. He was called to offer the
Gospel of the Kingdom of God to all those who might be receptive to it,
so that they could be set free.
Spiritual concepts are only grasped by
those who know and love God. Through the intervention of His Holy
Spirit, even simple, uneducated minds can receive divine truth. The
Word of God has inherent power and authority to dispel all darkness and
deception. However if men purposely reject it, it is usually because
they are not of God. The Bible has the ability to enlighten all who
embrace it with pure and humble hearts.
If we pray and ask the Lord to reveal His
secrets to us, He will always be faithful to accommodate us. We can
receive discernment through the power of His Holy Spirit. His words
will light our path and bring healing and prosperity to us. They will
set us free to pursue our divine destinies and serve the Lord and
others. We will walk in a supernatural anointing if we diligently study
and fully comprehend God’s words.
Matthew 8:16
“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed
with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all
that were sick:”
Our Lord and Savior was very wise for a
human being. Even though He laid down His deity when He came to this
earth, He operated in the divine wisdom of His Father by staying in
constant prayer and meditation on the Word of God. He knew when to open
His mouth and when to remain silent; His words always had specific
meaning and purpose.
With words that lined up with those of
His heavenly Father, Jesus cast out demons and set men free from their
bondage and torment. He spoke healing to all of their afflictions, and
if they believed His words, they were made whole. He taught His
disciples with real power and authority. He even raised the dead back
to life once again by the Word of almighty God.
Jesus rebuked fevers and all sorts of
infirmity and it was forever banished. He spoke the Word and will of
almighty God Himself to all those with whom He came in contact. Those
who were called of God, always received what He had to say, while those
who were evil rejected Him. Christ was totally obedient and successful
in everything that He said and did.
His words were virtual powerhouses for
good, and no one could refute them. He changed the course of human
events through the words that He spoke. He left us with tremendous
wisdom and revelation that is recorded in the gospels to this day. He
preached the Kingdom of God and all its many benefits, so that we would
have hope and confidence for our future.
Luke 8:24 “And
they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then
he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they
ceased, and there was a calm.”
Jesus Christ even spoke to the inclement
weather and the roaring seas. Nature obeyed His words and immediately
there was a calm established. He dispelled fear and dread from His
disciples’ minds, by asserting the Word of God in all of its divine
power and authority. Christ also taught His followers that they could
have whatever they spoke in faith.
If we are sincere believers in the Lord,
Jesus Christ, then we have His supernatural abilities available to us,
as well. He is the Head and we are His Body on this earth. We can do
everything that He did, and even greater works, the Bible tells us. Our
words that line up with those of almighty God Himself will work
miracles, signs and wonders in the days ahead.
We will rise up in our kingly and
priestly anointing and share the Gospel with zeal and conviction. We
will gather in the full, end-time harvest of souls that is required. We
will heal the sick of all their afflictions and cast out demons in
Christ’s name. We will even raise the dead by the words of our mouth.
Nothing will be impossible to us if we speak the Word of God.
The Power Behind Our Words
John 14:10
“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the
words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that
dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
God’s Word is His perfect, express will
for mankind. It never returns to Him void, but is always successful in
that which it was sent to do. If we dwell in God and He dwells in us,
our words are virtual powerhouses. We have been given the keys to the
Kingdom of God. Whatever we bind on earth is also bound in heaven.
Whatever we loose on the earth with our
words is also backed up by the power of almighty God Himself.
Our words alone are powerless without
God’s divine anointing on them. But if we speak what God tells us to
say, they are transformed into supernatural tools of creativity. We
must imitate the laid down life of Jesus Christ and only speak what God
tells us, or we could very possibly see disastrous results from our
careless words. We will be held accountable for every word that we
speak as the disciples of Jesus Christ.
We have been given a sacred charge. The
Lord needs our help in saving all of mankind from destruction. We can
deliver them with persuasive, positive words that the Gospel teaches.
Our words will convict them of sin and cause them to repent, be saved
and baptized in Jesus’ name. We can never underestimate the Word of
God. It brings light and life to all that we see, if it is wielded with
total faith, power and authority.
1Corinthians
2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of
man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your
faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
The words that we speak, that line up
with the Word of God, will revolutionize this entire world. We will
eliminate all wars and civil unrest in our human affairs. Power and
greed will be abolished. Social injustice will be thing of the past.
There will be no more poverty and lack, death and destruction anywhere.
The entire earth will be peaceful, orderly and stable, so the Lord can
usher in His everlasting Kingdom.
We will confront all wickedness and evil
and overcome it with good. The fate of all mankind will be impacted by
our words. We will teach others that God loves them and prepare the
hearts of all men, women and children to receive Jesus Christ their
King. Those who are rebellious will be warned of the impending judgment
and the eternal punishment that will result from their ignorance and
disobedience.
Nothing that we speak will be negative or
detrimental to the Lord’s express will and divine purpose. We will be
totally obedient to utter only those things that He wants spoken into
the atmosphere around us. We will tear down all demonic strongholds of
resistance that would deter or detain us in any way. We will speak
exactly as instructed, and all of heaven will back up our words that
line up with the Word of God.
The Lord will dispatch legions of angels
to minister to His people that implement His eternal redemption plan for
all mankind. We will see miracles, signs and wonders that result from
our mere words that are spoken in conjunction with the will of almighty
God. The entire earth will be impacted by our decrees and
declarations. Nothing will be impossible to us if we are obedient to
speak God’s Word as it is intended.
1Peter 4:11 “If
any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man
minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God
in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise
and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
The
Lord confirms His Word with attending miracles, signs and wonders that
attest to its verity. Many will be attracted to the Word of God in the
critical days to come, because they will be able to see physical
manifestations of its power. We will heal the sick, cast out demons and
even raise the dead to prove that the Lord is still in charge of our
universe. Men will be won to the truth by the supernatural events they
see.
As
the Body of Jesus Christ on this earth, we must be diligent to do all
that He asks of us. He will have us confront all world governments and
establish Kingdom principles of justice and equality for all. We will
speak to the hearts of leaders and influence them to eliminate all wars,
violence and conflict from our human affairs. We will encourage all men
to share what they have with those who are in need of any kind.
We
will speak to all of creation and see dramatic changes in nature. All
plants and animals will one day be in harmony with one another and
subject to man, as they once were in the Garden of Eden. We will
command the climate to be temperate and predictable and it will respond
to us. There will be no more natural catastrophes that cause
devastation and destruction. All effects of pollution will be totally
reversed.
The
entire earth will be impacted for good with the words that we speak. We
will usher in the Kingdom of God in all its glory. The Lord will
actually come and dwell with His people, and bless us with all the vast
resources that the universe has to offer us. We will have peace and
prosperity, safety and security, joy and freedom. He will change our
mortal bodies to be like Christ’s very own, and we will live for all of
eternity.
The Anointed Word Of God
Matthew 12:37
“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt
be condemned.”
Jesus Christ taught us that we will be judged and held accountable for
every word idle that we speak. Our words either justify or condemn us,
depending upon what we choose to say. We can decree and declare the
Word of God and see awesome results generated in the world around us.
However, if we are negative in any way, we can bring disastrous results
to our lives and those of others.
We
have been delivered from the curse and all of its evil influence,
through our faith in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ Himself. We
should study and meditate on the Word of God, so that our minds are
renewed in its truth and our behavior is transformed. If we think only
positive, godly thoughts, we can be successful in all that we think, say
and do in this world and in the Kingdom to come.
It
will be possible for us to change the fate of the entire human race,
simply by speaking God’s words in all of their power and authority. We
can decree peace on earth and justice for all of mankind. We can
abolish all poverty and lack simply by persuading others to share their
surplus with those in need. We can preach the Gospel, and see men saved
to eternal life with all of its many benefits.
If
we are diligent to speak the Word of God in all of its power we will
work miracles, signs and wonders to attract others to our faith. We
will restore all of creation back to its original beauty and balance.
We will control the climate with our words and eliminate all natural
disasters. Plants and animals will be subject to us and we will take
dominion over the entire earth, as we are destined to do.
James 1:21
“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and
receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your
souls.”
We
should firmly desire to know the Word of almighty God and learn to
responsibly speak it forth out of our very own mouths. We cannot ever
be frivolous in our speech and hope to be entrusted with God’s words
that have genuine power and authority. We must crucify our flesh and
all of its carnality and purify ourselves in the living Word that has
the ability to save our souls from utter destruction.
The
Word of God is light and life to all who find it. We should share God’s
words with others, so that they have hope and confidence for their
future. The Lord desires that we be in an intimate relationship with
Him as His sons and daughters for all of eternity. He wants to nurture
and protect us from all harm. It is His heart’s desire to gather all of
mankind to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of God.
If
we are sanctified in the truth; totally obedient to God’s commandments;
and walk in love; we will receive the free gift of eternal life and all
of its many blessings. There is no good thing that the Lord will ever
withhold from us. We will have all our needs met in abundance, even
before we ask Him. He will take vengeance on all our enemies and make
certain that we are always healthy and happy.
God’s Word promises us that we will live forever in His holy presence in
the Kingdom of God on this earth. He will change our bodies into
glorious, resurrection forms that are free of disease and decay. We
will build beautiful homes for our large families and reap all the
bounty of the earth for our food. We will see our offspring for all
generations to come and dwell in love, peace and unity with others.
Colossians 3:17
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
If we are faithful to study and apply the
Word of God to our own lives, we will be godly role models for others
who are still lost in darkness and deception. We will teach them how to
receive salvation in Jesus Christ and protect their righteousness at all
times. We will illustrate the practical advice that is available in
God’s Word, so that they are never without His valuable guidance and
direction.
We will give them hope and confidence for
their future and encourage them to fulfill their divine destinies. The
words that we speak will inspire them to be all that God has intended
for them to be. We will offer reproof and correction when they fall
short of the glory of God and urge them to repent and seek His
forgiveness. We will teach them to obey all His commandments and walk
in love.
All of mankind will be reached with the
good news of the Kingdom of God. We will baptize countless numbers in
Jesus’ name and see them saved to eternal life with all of its many
benefits. No righteous man, woman or child will be left behind. Our
heavenly Father will gather us to Himself for all of eternity, as He has
promised us in His Word. We will dwell in a veritable paradise in His
presence.
The Lord will be pleased with all of our
efforts on His behalf and grant us generous rewards in the Kingdom of
God. We will judge both men and angels and share in Christ’s very own
honor and glory. He will appoint us as kings and priests and give us
the heathen for our inheritance in the uttermost parts of the earth. We
will even rule and reign with Jesus Christ over every nation of the
world.
Our Lord and Savior will be a righteous
King and provide all that we need to be healthy, happy and content. We
will dwell in peace and unity with both men and angels. We will worship
our God in Spirit and in truth and celebrate all of His sabbaths and
perpetual feast days with joy and gladness in our hearts. We will give
the Lord all the thanks, praise and glory that He deserves forever
more.
