James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God,
and he will draw nigh to
you. Cleanse [your] hands,
[ye] sinners; and purify
[your] hearts, [ye] double
minded.”
It's time for a wake-up
call; our judgment is nearer
than we think. Jesus Christ
will soon return to the
earth and vanquish all evil
from His holy presence. We
cannot afford to toy with
sin and disobedience any
longer. We should turn
towards our God now and
repent of all our
wrongdoing. The Lord is
ever merciful to the human
condition and He will gladly
forgive us if we are sincere
and contrite.
He wants nothing more than
to gather us to Himself for
all of eternity. However,
sin of any kind gets in the
way and interrupts our
fellowship. We must allow
the purging fire of almighty
God to cleanse us of all our
defilement, so that we can
intimately relate to Him, as
we should. We must be
sanctified of all our
fleshly lusts and
selfishness of the soul in
order to enter into the
everlasting Kingdom of God.
We inherently know the
truth; we cannot be on the
fence in any way. Our
salvation is an all or
nothing proposition. Sin
offends God and destroys our
rapport with Him. He is
under no obligation to
associate with those who are
stubborn and rebellious. We
will bring a fiery judgment
and lasting condemnation on
ourselves if we persist in
lawlessness. We must repent
of our sins and renounce
them.
1John 1:9 “If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us [our]
sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.”
If we are truly sincere, the
Lord will be quick to hear
our confession and forgive
us of all our
transgression. He will
restore us to right standing
with Him and even blot our
sin from His memory. He
will reinstate all of our
promised blessings and treat
us as His very own sons and
daughters. There is no good
thing that He will ever
withhold from us, if we are
obedient and walk in love
for Him and others.
We must be diligent to
protect our righteousness
and guard it from
contamination at all times.
We cannot flirt with
temptation and hope to
escape its consequences. We
are to be in the world, but
not of it. We have to
maintain a godly perspective
in all that we think, say
and do. If we imitate the
laid down life of our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ, we
will be empowered to become
and remain sin free.
He will be pleased with all
of our efforts, and
strengthen us to prevail at
all times. We will learn to
overcome the world, our
flesh and the devil and
become fitting role models
for others. If we are
totally sanctified and
consecrated to His service,
Christ will imbue us with
divine power and authority,
so we can operate on His
behalf. We will confront
all mankind and share our
faith with them.
Philippians 2:12 “Wherefore,
my beloved, as ye have
always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much
more in my absence, work out
your own salvation with fear
and trembling.”
We will challenge every man,
woman and child that we meet
to seek the truth of the
Gospel message. We will see
many born again and baptized
in Jesus' name unto eternal
life. We will show them how
to remain righteous at all
times, and teach them to how
to mature spiritually. We
will encourage them to pray
and ask the Lord for the
baptism in His Holy Spirit,
so that they can be
strengthened in their
spirits.
Each of us has to ultimately
work out our own salvation.
We cannot escape the Lord's
scrutiny. He sees
everything that we do and
our behavior must always be
above and beyond reproach.
If we maintain a close
relationship with our
heavenly Father and His Son,
Jesus Christ, we will be
able to conquer our human
weakness and tendency
towards sin and evil. Our
goal should be to become
holy and perfect.
Our time on this earth is a
testing period for us. We
are spirit beings having a
human experience that will
either culminate in victory
or defeat. The temptation
to sin is always before us,
but it is possible for us to
overcome it, if we are
diligent. We can crucify
our flesh with all of its
lusts and subdue our souls.
We can eventually acquire
and develop spiritual
attributes that are like
those of almighty God
Himself.
2Timothy 4:18 “And the Lord
shall deliver me from every
evil work, and will preserve
[me] unto his heavenly
kingdom: to whom [be] glory
for ever and ever. Amen.”
The Lord stands ready to
assist us in our spiritual
growth and development. He
has made salvation available
to each and every one of us
and He will not abandon us
now. If we ask Him to
deliver us from all evil, He
will always respond
favorably. There is no
reason why any of us should
remain in bondage to sin.
The Lord will send His
purging fire to cleanse us
of all unrighteousness.
We can cooperate with our
sanctification and become
holy and perfect, just as
God is holy and perfect. He
has only our best interest
in mind and a wonderful plan
for our future. If we
submit ourselves to God and
humbles ourselves under His
mighty hand, He will exalt
us in due time. He is ever
faithful to lead and guide
us, so that we are preserved
holy and blameless until
Christ returns.
Unless we become and remain
sin free at all times and
under all circumstances, we
will never be able to enter
into the everlasting Kingdom
of God when it comes to the
earth. The Lord will
actually come and take up
residence with His people
and no wickedness can
survive His presence. He is
holy and perfect and sin
only defiles Him. All evil
will be destroyed in the
wrath of His coming.
There is a strict judgment
that is coming on all of us
in the very near future.
When Jesus Christ returns to
us, He will not be a meek
and mild Lamb of God this
time. He has vengeance in
His heart to destroy all the
enemies of almighty God and
His people. He will
tolerate no rebellion in any
of us. If we have failed to
repent of all known sin and
sanctify ourselves, we will
be eternally punished.
Righteousness Like Filthy
Rags
Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all
as an unclean [thing], and
all our righteousnesses
[are] as filthy rags; and we
all do fade as a leaf; and
our iniquities, like the
wind, have taken us away.”
Our righteousness is but
filthy rags; all of us have
sinned and fallen short of
the glory of God. Nothing
that we can do in our own
strength will remedy that
situation. We all need
deliverance from our sins
and our right standing with
almighty God to be
restored. We can never
enter His presence if we
remain as we are. He is
holy and perfect and He
cannot ever be contaminated
with evil of any kind.
Without God in our lives we
are doomed to utter
destruction. We need to be
connected with Him as the
source of all life. He has
seen our plight and has a
permanent solution to our
problem. If we repent of
all known sin and renounce
it for all time, He makes
salvation available to us
through His Son, Jesus
Christ. We can be redeemed
of all iniquity, and become
God's very own sons and
daughters.
Complete righteousness is
accessible to us now; we are
no longer subject to the
penalty of death for our
transgressions. We can be
set free from our bondage to
sin and evil for all time.
We need not struggle to
maintain our relationship
with God. He has made it
simple for each of us to
know the truth and walk it
out in our personal lives.
If we are willing and
obedient, we will be saved
to eternal life.
Psalm 65:3 “Iniquities
prevail against me: [as for]
our transgressions, thou
shalt purge them away.”
The human condition is a
struggle at best. Although
we were created in God's
very own image and likeness,
we have all inherited a
propensity towards sin and
evil. Our first parents
were rebellious and we have
followed in their
footsteps. No matter how
hard we try, we all make
mistakes and miss the mark
of true righteousness.
Satan, the enemy of our
souls, has had free reign in
our lives.
We are subject to the
bondage of sin and evil and
oppressed in all of our
efforts to become and remain
sin free. We require
deliverance from our plight
that only God can provide.
He has an eternal redemption
plan in place that will
benefit us in every way. If
we submit ourselves to God
and resist the devil, he
will flee from us. We can
overcome all of our human
weakness and prevail over
our sins.
The Lord will purge us of
all wickedness and rebellion
and draw us very near to Him
if we give Him full access
to our lives. If we
cooperate with our
sanctification, we will be
totally cleansed of all
iniquity. We will
eventually be able to
overcome the world, our
flesh and the devil. We can
appropriate the very
righteousness of Jesus
Christ Himself through faith
and be redeemed for all
time.
Galatians 3:22 “But the
scripture hath concluded all
under sin, that the promise
by faith of Jesus Christ
might be given to them that
believe.”
We are no longer subject to
the Old Testament Law, by
which no man could be made
perfect. We do not have to
offer the blood of animals
to atone for our sins. We
have the Blood of the Son of
God Himself that covers us
for all of our iniquity -
past, present and future.
Jesus died so that we do not
have to suffer the pain and
agony for our wickedness
that we deserve. He was the
total sacrifice required for
all mankind.
Eternal life is available to
each and every one of us who
believe in His name. We
have been set free from the
law of sin and death and
translated into the kingdom
of light and life. Our
righteousness has been
bought and paid for by
Christ's total obedience on
our behalf. He was perfect
in every way and completely
sin-free, but He became sin
for us, so that we could be
delivered to eternal life
with all its many benefits.
If we believe in Jesus
Christ and accept Him as our
personal Lord and Savior, we
will be released from our
bondage to sin and evil for
all time. If we give Him
free access to our lives, He
will actually dwell in us so
that we can become like Him
in every way. We will have
our minds renewed in the
truth and our behavior
transformed until it becomes
godly. We will imitate His
laid down life and develop
into mature believers.
Isaiah 53:5 “But he [was]
wounded for our
transgressions, [he was]
bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our
peace [was] upon him; and
with his stripes we are
healed. All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own
way; and the LORD hath laid
on him the iniquity of us
all.”
Our redemption has been
bought with a dear price -
the Blood of the only
begotten Son of almighty God
Himself. He suffered and
died an agonizing death, so
that all of mankind could be
delivered form their sins
once and for all. The Lord
imputes righteousness to us
by our faith in Jesus Christ
and we have inherited
eternal life through all His
efforts on our behalf.
Christ was human in all
respects and like us in very
way, but He conquered sin,
death and the grave. He is
our role model for holiness
and perfection. Our
redemption is total and
complete and we must protect
it at all costs. If we are
diligent to follow His
example, we will become the
actual sons and daughters of
almighty God Himself and
walk in divine power.
We can no longer keep
sinning or we make the
sacrifice of Christ to no
avail. We put ourselves
back under the curse of
death. We must pray and ask
the Lord to permanently
deliver us from all evil and
its power over us. If we
are diligent to confess all
of our sins and fully commit
ourselves to righteousness,
we will be able to overcome
all our weakness in the
flesh.
Purged Of All Sins
Psalm 79:9 “Help us, O God
of our salvation, for the
glory of thy name: and
deliver us, and purge away
our sins, for thy name's
sake.”
If we are sincere and
contrite for all of our
sins, the Lord is willing to
help us rid ourselves of all
defilement. He will reveal
all of our weaknesses to us
and strengthen us to
overcome all tendencies to
sin and evil. He is
compassionate to the human
condition and knows that we
often struggle with our
faith. His Holy Spirit will
convict us of all wrongdoing
and lead and guide us into
the truth.
The Lord is eminently
capable of engineering our
circumstances, so that we
line up with His perfect
will for our lives. He will
purge and cleanse us until
we reach the full stature of
Jesus Christ Himself. If we
cooperate with Him and
willingly submit to His
correction, we will be
astonished in the changes in
us. We will crucify our
fleshly lusts and subdue our
selfish souls until we
become godly.
We are not alone in our
plight. Each and every one
of us has to work on our
sanctification. We all fall
short of God's glory and sin
from time to time.
Regardless of whether or not
we have made Jesus Lord of
our lives, we still have the
sin issue to confront. If
we ask the Lord for His
help, He will assist us in
our challenges. He will
identify all that is lacking
in us and give us grace in
our efforts.
Hebrews 12:5-6 “And ye have
forgotten the exhortation
which speaketh unto you as
unto children, My son,
despise not thou the
chastening of the Lord, nor
faint when thou art rebuked
of him: For whom the Lord
loveth he chasteneth, and
scourgeth every son whom he
receiveth.”
It is possible for us to
ultimately overcome our
sinful human nature and
become holy and perfect,
just as God is holy and
perfect. The baptism in the
Holy Spirit is essential to
help us develop godly,
spiritual characteristics
and attributes that will
produce good fruit in our
lives. If we are patient
with ourselves and confident
in the Lord's ability to
deliver us from evil, we
will see miraculous results.
Our lives will become
peaceful, stable and
orderly, as we learn to
grapple with our sin and
overcome it. The Lord will
point out areas that need
improvement and encourage us
to change. He will show us
how proud He is that we are
seeking His approval. He
will boost our efforts by
arranging our circumstances
to line up with His perfect
will for us. We will be
totally amazed at our
transformation.
Little by little, day by
day, our God will lead us
and guide us until we become
His fully mature sons and
daughters. He will purge
and cleanse us of all
unrighteousness, so that we
can become sacred vessels
for His use. We will
ultimately be entrusted with
divine power and authority,
so we can embrace our divine
destinies. The Lord will be
totally confident in our
ability to serve Him and His
people.
Revelation 3:19 “As many as
I love, I rebuke and
chasten: be zealous
therefore, and repent”
Almighty God only chastens
and rebukes those whom He
truly loves. He reminds us
that we are His very own
sons and daughters and that
He has high hopes for us.
He has perfect, impeccable
standards that are well
within our reach, if we
appropriate the
righteousness of Christ and
diligently work on becoming
spiritually mature. We must
repent from our heart of all
known sin and renounce it
for all time.
We should, additionally,
keep all of the
commandments, walk in love
and fulfill the Lord's
express will for our lives.
We have divine destinies
that must be embraced or
many others will be lost in
sin and darkness. We cannot
be willfully disobedient or
run the risk of God's
displeasure. He wants us to
cooperate with Him, so we
can change the face of the
entire earth and usher in
the everlasting Kingdom of
God.
That may seem like a stretch
for many of us, but the Lord
knows our full potential.
He has created us in His
very own image and likeness,
so that we can reign now and
in the world to come. He
will imbue us with His very
own divine power and
authority to destroy all
evil and overcome it with
good. Nothing will be
impossible to us, if we
sanctify ourselves and
consecrate all of our
efforts to His holy purpose.
1Corinthians 1:30 “But of
him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us
wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and
redemption:”
Through our faith in Christ,
we can become righteous and
remain sin free at all times
and under all
circumstances. We are brand
new creatures in Him; we
have been given a fresh
start. Our minds are
renewed in the truth and our
behavior is transformed
until we become like Him in
every way. If we imitate
His laid down life, we will
gradually evolve into fully
mature sons and daughters.
Christ actually dwells in us
now that we are born again,
and we can do all things in
His strength. If we
renounce all of our
sinfulness and adequately
prepare ourselves, He will
be able to share His very
own anointing with us. We
will be empowered from on
high to complete His
ministry on this earth. We
will preach the Gospel to
every race, tongue and
nation and set men free to
eternal life.
We will release countless
numbers from their bondage
to sin and evil and baptize
many in Jesus' name. We
will heal the sick of all
their diseases; cast out
devils that oppress others;
and even raise the dead back
to life once again, as Jesus
Christ did. We will tear
down demonic strongholds
that interfere with our work
or impede our progress. We
will assist the Lord in
bring heaven itself to this
earth.
The Body of Christ is
comprised of all the
faithful who have fully
consecrated themselves for
divine service to others.
We will change the fate of
all mankind in the critical
days to come. We will warn
them of the impending
judgment and exhort them to
repent of all their sins.
We will confront all the
wickedness that we see and
encourage others to prepare
their hearts for the return
of Jesus Christ.
Covered By The Blood
1Peter 1:2 “Elect according
to the foreknowledge of God
the Father, through
sanctification of the
Spirit, unto obedience and
sprinkling of the blood of
Jesus Christ: Grace unto
you, and peace, be
multiplied.”
The Lord knew us from the
foundation of the world and
He predestined to be His
very own sons and
daughters. However, sin
separated us from God and
interrupted His original
plan for our lives. The
precious Blood of Jesus
Christ purchased our
redemption for us. Because
of His perfect sacrifice on
our behalf, we are set free
to be all that we were
called to be.
Through our faith, we are
justified and made
righteous. Our minds are
renewed and our behavior is
totally changed. We need no
longer fear eternal
punishment for our
offenses. Our right
standing with God has been
fully restored. We are
sanctified in the truth
through the baptism of His
Holy Spirit, so we can grow
and mature until we reach
the full stature of Christ
Himself.
We must protect our
righteousness at all times,
and be obedient to do all
that the Lord asks of us.
We should obey all of His
commandments and walk in
love, as we have been
taught. We need never be
estranged from God ever
again. When we do make
mistakes, we have His grace
available to us. If we are
sincerely sorry for our
sins, He will be quick to
forgive us.
Ephesians 2:13 “But now in
Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were far off are
made nigh by the blood of
Christ.”
While we were once estranged
from God due to our iniquity
and transgressions, we are
now accepted as His beloved
through the merits of the
Blood of His Son, Jesus
Christ. We have been
restored to our right
standing with our Creator
through no effort of our
own. Jesus did all the hard
work for us. He suffered,
died, was buried and rose
again to defeat death for
all of mankind.
He was the total sacrifice
that was necessary for the
remission of all of our sins
for all time. Through faith
in Him, we are redeemed from
all of our sin guilt and
joint-heirs to all the
promises for righteousness.
We can approach the throne
of grace without fear, shame
or condemnation and have all
of our prayers heard. The
Lord is ever faithful to
respond to all our needs in
abundance.
We are now entitled to the
gift of eternal life with
all of its many benefits.
If we should ever sin and
make mistakes after we have
accepted Jesus as Lord and
Savior, we must repent from
the heart and ask for His
forgiveness. Almighty God
will be merciful and
compassionate to us, and
restore us to our right
standing with Him once
again. He will even blot
our sins from His memory.
Hebrews 9:14 “How much more
shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself
without spot to God, purge
your conscience from dead
works to serve the living
God?”
The Blood of Jesus Christ
cleanses us of all our sins
- past, present and future.
However, we can never take
our salvation for granted.
We have been bought with a
dear price and we must
remember all that He did for
us. We are brand new
creatures in Christ; the old
man who was steeped in
temptation and sin is gone
for good. We have an
obligation to protect our
righteousness at all costs.
If we crucify our fleshly
desires and subdue our
selfish soul ambitions, we
will be fully sanctified for
the Lord's use. We must
surrender our personal lives
and submit ourselves to
God. If we are consecrated
to His holy purpose, He will
imbue us with divine power
and authority to serve Him
and His people. We will be
righteous role models to
others and share our faith
with zeal and enthusiasm.
We will gather in the full,
end-time harvest of souls
and baptize them in Jesus'
name. The Lord will work
through us to reach every
man, woman and child in
every race, tongue and
nation. No one who is
receptive to the Gospel
message will be left
behind. We will be willing
and obedient to complete all
that He assigns us to do.
We will take back the entire
earth for the everlasting
Kingdom of God.
Revelation 1:5-6 “And from
Jesus Christ, [who is] the
faithful witness, [and] the
first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings
of the earth. Unto him that
loved us, and washed us from
our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and
priests unto God and his
Father; to him [be] glory
and dominion for ever and
ever. Amen.”
Christ actually dwells in us
now through our faith, and
we are covered by His Blood
for all of our past
transgressions. We are
totally vindicated by His
sacrificial offering on our
behalf. He was the
firstborn of many sons and
daughters, and we are
joint-heirs with Him to all
the promises of God. He has
appointed us to be kings and
priests and we will rule and
reign with Him over all the
nations of the world.
We are divinely consecrated
now, and we have been given
a sacred charge. We must
rise up in our God-given
power and authority and take
back this earth for our Lord
and Savior. He will soon
return to receive His
everlasting Kingdom from us,
and we have to prepare the
hearts of all mankind to
receive their King. We must
preach the Gospel of Jesus
Christ with a new fervor and
baptize others in His name.
Everyone who is receptive to
the truth will be born again
and saved to eternal life.
Those who reject us will be
banished to never ending
punishment in the
unquenchable lake of fire.
The righteous will shine
with the light of God's
glory and He will gather us
into His awesome presence
for all of eternity. There
is no good thing that the
Lord will ever withhold from
His people, if we are
obedient and walk in love.
He will take vengeance on
all of our enemies and
vindicate us before both men
and angels. Our mortal
bodies that are susceptible
to disease and death will be
changed into glorious,
resurrection forms that live
forever in good health and
vitality. We will have
peace and prosperity, joy
and freedom, safety and
security beyond all of our
expectations. We will never
be separated from our God
ever again.
Sanctified In The Truth
John 17:17-22 “Sanctify them
through thy truth: thy word
is truth. As thou hast sent
me into the world, even so
have I also sent them into
the world. And for their
sakes I sanctify myself,
that they also might be
sanctified through the
truth. Neither pray I for
these alone, but for them
also which shall believe on
me through their word; That
they all may be one; as
thou, Father, [art] in me,
and I in thee, that they
also may be one in us: that
the world may believe that
thou hast sent me. And the
glory which thou gavest me I
have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are
one:”
The Lord plans on gathering
a totally purified people to
Himself in the everlasting
Kingdom of God. He is not a
God of compromise; He will
tolerate no wickedness and
evil to enter into His holy
presence. If we wish to
spend all of eternity with
Him, we will have to
sanctify ourselves of all
defilement and become holy
and perfect, just as He is
holy and perfect.
That may seem like a
daunting task for creatures
which have a definite
tendency towards sin and
rebellion. However, if we
ask for God's help in
purging us of all our
weakness in the flesh and
selfishness of the soul, He
will be merciful and
compassionate to us. He
will deliver us from the
power of sin and strengthen
us in our inner man, so that
we can overcome all evil.
Jesus Christ always
intercedes for us with His
Father and reminds Him that
we have been redeemed from
all of our sinfulness. He
will lead and guide us into
paths of righteousness, so
that we can be thoroughly
cleansed of all our
iniquity. If we imitate His
laid down life, obey all the
commandments and walk in
love as He taught us, we
will be continually
righteous.
We must avoid all strife and
division and maintain peace
with God and with one
another. We can neither
take offense, nor give it.
We should forgive all wrongs
done to us, as God forgives
us. In the critical days
that lie ahead, it will be
imperative that we walk in
love and unity. There is
strength in numbers, and we
can accomplish a great deal
through cooperation.
Ephesians 5:26-27 “That he
might sanctify and cleanse
it with the washing of water
by the word, That he might
present it to himself a
glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any
such thing; but that it
should be holy and without
blemish.”
We are the Body of Christ
Himself on the earth, and we
cannot afford to dabble in
sin of any kind. We have
divine destinies to fulfill
and our Savior is returning
for a totally pure and
spotless church. Holiness
is not an option for any of
us, if we wish to spend all
of eternity in His
presence. We are future
kings and priests of God and
we must be righteous role
models for others at all
times.
We must be sanctified in the
truth and cleansed of all
defilement in spirit, soul
and body. We will lead
others to the Lord, Jesus
Christ, and we have to be
above and beyond approach in
all that we think, say and
do. The fate of all mankind
rests with us, and we cannot
be remiss in discharging any
of our duties. We will
share our faith with others
and see many of them saved
to eternal life.
We will heal the sick of all
their afflictions; cast out
demons that hold men in
bondage to sin and evil; and
even raise the dead back to
life once again as Christ
Himself did. We will
confront all wickedness that
we see, and remind men of
the imminent judgment that
will soon come on all of
us. We will pray with those
who are discouraged and
exhort others in the truth
of the Gospel message.
1Thessalonians 5:21-23
“Prove all things; hold fast
that which is good. Abstain
from all appearance of evil.
And the very God of peace
sanctify you wholly; and [I
pray God] your whole spirit
and soul and body be
preserved blameless unto the
coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ.”
The followers of Jesus
Christ will shine with His
glory in the days to come.
We will take back the entire
earth for the Kingdom of
God. We will confront all
world governments and urge
them to end all wars,
violence and conflict in our
human affairs. We will
bring peace, order and
stability to the earth and
eliminate all poverty and
lack. There will be no more
oppression or exploitation
of others.
All men will be treated with
fairness dignity and
respect. We will heal all
their diseases and turn many
towards righteousness. We
will learn to dwell together
as brothers and sisters. We
will overcome all evil with
good and destroy demonic
strongholds that interfere
with our work. We will
change the fate of the
entire earth through our
efforts and usher in the
Kingdom of God, as we are
destined to do.
The Lord, Jesus Christ, will
be free to return to us to
set up His rule and reign.
We will put all of His
enemies underneath His feet
- including death. He will
rid the world of all evil
and banish Satan to the
bottomless pit. Christ will
judge all men, and even
angels, to determine who
will be rewarded and who
will be punished for all
eternity. He will cast all
wrongdoers into the
unquenchable lake of fire.
The righteous will be
gathered into the Kingdom of
God to enjoy all of its
blessings. There will be
peace and prosperity for
everyone. There will be no
more death and destruction
on the earth. Christ will
rule with a rod of iron to
make certain that we are all
safe and secure from harm.
We will have health and
longevity in our new,
resurrection bodies and see
our offspring for all
generations to come.
Perfected By Obedience
Ecclesiates 12:13-14 “Let us
hear the conclusion of the
whole matter: Fear God, and
keep his commandments: for
this [is] the whole [duty]
of man. For God shall bring
every work into judgment,
with every secret thing,
whether [it be] good, or
whether [it be] evil.”
Our God is a consuming fire
that should be reverentially
feared at all times. He is
capable of both creation and
destruction. He created
mankind in His very own
image and likeness to be in
close fellowship with Him
for all of eternity.
However, we have all sinned
and fallen short of His
glory. We have to repent
and be restored to right
standing with Him. We
cannot be doing our own
thing or that will lead to
our demise.
Almighty God insists on
perfect obedience in His
children at all times and
under all circumstances. He
has cleansed us of all
iniquity by the sacrifice of
His very own Son, Jesus
Christ, and He will not
tolerate any sin in us. We
have to make certain that we
keep all of His commandments
and adhere to all of His
moral and spiritual
guidelines. None of us
dare to deliberately step
out of line or we will be
eternally punished.
The wages of sin are
spiritual and physical death
- plain and simple. If we
purposely sin and violate
God's laws, we will perish
in our own ignorance and
rebellion. When Christ
returns, we will be strictly
judged for all of our works
in the flesh. If we have
rebelled and purposely
sinned, we will be forever
banished to the unquenchable
lake of fire. No wickedness
or evil of any kind will
ever enter into God's holy
presence.
2Corinthians 10:5-6 “Casting
down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge
of God, and bringing into
captivity every thought to
the obedience of Christ; And
having in a readiness to
revenge all disobedience,
when your obedience is
fulfilled.”
We have been bought with a
dear price but we can never
take our salvation for
granted. We should look to
our Lord, Jesus Christ, for
guidance and direction. He
will lead us into all
righteousness in Him. We
must learn to imitate His
laid down life and become
sincere, meek and humble in
our approach to our heavenly
Father. We should show Him
deference and respect at all
times and be quick to obey
all that He asks of us.
Almighty God has perfect,
impeccable standards for our
behavior as His sons and
daughters. We have to make
certain that we are
uncompromisingly righteous
and walk in love at all
times. The Lord doesn't
ever take rebellion
lightly. Everything that we
think, say and do will have
to line up with God's will
for our lives or we will
suffer reprisal. We have
eternal destinies to fulfill
that require us to be
totally obedient.
If we are diligent to do all
that is required of us in
the critical days ahead, we
will receive generous
rewards for our
faithfulness. The Lord will
appoint us kings and priests
in His everlasting Kingdom
on this earth. We will
share in Christ's very own
honor and glory, and teach
all of mankind how to dwell
in love, peace and unity as
brothers and sisters. We
will even rule and reign
with Jesus over all the
nations of the world.
Colossians 3:1-4 “If ye then
be risen with Christ, seek
those things which are
above, where Christ sitteth
on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things
above, not on things on the
earth. For ye are dead, and
your life is hid with Christ
in God. When Christ, [who
is] our life, shall appear,
then shall ye also appear
with him in glory.”
As brand new creatures in
Christ; we can do all things
through Him, to include
being fully obedient to God
at all times. It is
possible for us to forego
all the temptations that we
incur and become holy and
perfect, just as He is holy
and perfect. If we set our
minds on things above rather
than mundane matters, we
will be successful in
overcoming the world, our
flesh and the devil.
We will be sanctified for
the Lord's use and lead many
others out of darkness and
deception. We will be godly
role models in all we think,
say and do. We will preach
the Gospel of the Kingdom of
God and baptize countless
numbers in Jesus' name. We
will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover. We
will cast out demons that
keep others in bondage to
sin and evil.
The power and authority of
almighty God Himself will be
available to us, and we will
even raise the dead back to
life once again, as Christ
did when He walked the
earth. Nothing will be
impossible to us. We will
walk in the supernatural
realm and work miracles on a
regular basis. The fate of
the entire earth will be
altered and we will usher in
the everlasting Kingdom of
God.
2 Corinthians 7:1“Having
therefore these promises,
dearly beloved, let us
cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and
spirit, perfecting holiness
in the fear of God.”
Very soon now, the Lord will
gather all the faithful to
Himself for all of
eternity. He will actually
come and dwell with His
beloved sons and daughters,
as He has always desired.
However, no wickedness and
evil can ever enter into His
holy presence. We will have
to make absolutely certain
that we are cleansed of all
unrighteousness or we will
never see our God.
If we have a wholesome fear
of the Lord and show Him the
deference and respect that
He deserves, He will do all
that He can to assist us in
our efforts to remain
righteous in His eyes. He
will deliver us from our
temptation to sin and
protect us from all evil.
We will be strengthened in
our inner man, so that we
develop the spiritual
maturity of Jesus Christ
Himself.
We will have to crucify all
the desires of our flesh and
forego all selfishness of
the soul. The Lord insists
on our total obedience to
all of His commandments. We
can never compromise any of
His moral absolutes. It is
also imperative that we walk
in love at all times and
under all circumstances. We
should strive to be holy and
perfect, even as God is holy
and perfect.
There are tremendous rewards
that await us for all of our
efforts. The Lord will take
vengeance on all of our
enemies and protect us from
all harm. He will supply
all our needs in abundance
even before we ask Him. He
will change our mortal
bodies into glorious,
resurrection forms that
never get sick and die. We
will live forever in a
literal paradise on this
earth.
Rooted And Grounded In Love
Mark 12:30-31 “And thou
shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all
thy mind, and with all thy
strength: this [is] the
first commandment. And the
second [is] like, [namely]
this, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. There
is none other commandment
greater than these.”
Jesus Christ did not come to
this earth to condemn
mankind; He came to save us
to eternal life and teach us
God's way of doing things.
He did not abolish the Old
Testament Law; He fulfilled
it in its entirety. Our
Lord and Savior taught us
that we must put almighty
God above all things, and
love one another, as we love
ourselves, under all
situations and
circumstances.
All of the Ten Commandments
can be summed up in these
two - love of God and love
of neighbor. We can never
compromise our love walk and
remain righteous. We must
show God all the deference
and respect that He deserves
and have a sincere love for
Him. We must regard others,
as we do ourselves, and
demonstrate affection in all
of our dealings with them.
Love is merciful and kind,
and bears all things. We
can never deliberately step
out of love without serious
repercussions. We must
always remember that our God
has a deep, abiding love for
us and that He expects us to
imitate that in all of our
relationships. We should
keep others' needs on an
even plane with our own, and
do all that we can to assist
one another at all times.
1John 4:15-17 “Whosoever
shall confess that Jesus is
the Son of God, God dwelleth
in him, and he in God. And
we have known and believed
the love that God hath to
us. God is love; and he that
dwelleth in love dwelleth in
God, and God in him. Herein
is our love made perfect,
that we may have boldness in
the day of judgment: because
as he is, so are we in this
world.”
Christ was the epitome of
human love to all of
mankind. He came to spare
us the wrath of God and show
us His deep, abiding
affection for us. Jesus
actually laid down His very
own life, so that we could
be saved from the penalty of
death ourselves. There is
no greater love than that.
If we have accepted Him as
Lord and Savior, then He
actually dwells in us as
love.
The Lord insists that we
give Him deference and
respect and show genuine
regard for one another at
all times. Love is the
literal fulfillment of the
Ten Commandments on a
practical basis. If we love
God and one another, we will
never transgress any of the
law. Disobedience offends
God and hurts others; it
should be intolerable to any
of us if we have sincere
love.
Jesus Christ was the
firstborn of many sons and
daughters who will be
perfected in love in the
days to come. We will be
motivated to serve the Lord
and His people with real
zeal and enthusiasm. We
will share one another's
joys and bear one another's
burdens, as the law of love
requires. We will all learn
to dwell together in love,
peace and unity as
brothers.
Ephesians 3:17-21 “That
Christ may dwell in your
hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in
love, May be able to
comprehend with all saints
what [is] the breadth, and
length, and depth, and
height; And to know the love
of Christ, which passeth
knowledge, that ye might be
filled with all the fulness
of God. Now unto him that is
able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to
the power that worketh in
us, Unto him [be] glory in
the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world
without end. Amen.”
We are truly blessed to be
born again in our spirits.
We know the truth; God is
love and if we walk in love
He actually dwells in our
mortal bodies and is the
source of all good things in
our lives. There is nothing
that is impossible to us, if
we protect our righteousness
and are obedient to all that
the Lord asks of us. We are
filled with all the fullness
of almighty God Himself
through our faith in Jesus
Christ.
We can fulfill our divine
destinies as His children if
we obey all the commandments
and love one another as He
has loved us. We will rise
up in our kingly and
priestly anointing and help
Him minister to all of
mankind. We will deliver
others from their bondage to
sin and evil and teach them
God's ways. We spread our
faith and see others saved
to eternal life through all
our efforts on their behalf.
We can change the fate of
the entire earth if we are
diligent to do all that the
Lord requires of us. We
will confront all world
governments and establish
godly principles of fairness
and justice. We will
abolish all forms of
oppression and exploitation
and make certain that all
men are treated with dignity
and respect. We will
eradicate poverty and lack
and ensure that the needs of
all mankind are addressed.
We will bring peace, order
and stability to all of
creation through the very
words that we speak that
line up with those of
almighty God. We will
command harmony in the plant
and animal kingdoms and rid
the world of all the
contaminating effects of
pollution. We will speak to
the climate, so that there
are no more natural
disasters that cause
devastation and destruction
that threaten any of God's
creatures.
2Corinthians 13:11 “Finally,
brethren, farewell. Be
perfect, be of good comfort,
be of one mind, live in
peace; and the God of love
and peace shall be with
you.”
All the world will
ultimately be at peace even
before Christ returns to
us. We will eliminate all
sources of strife and
division among us. There
will be no more wars,
violence or conflict, that
injure any of us ever
again. We will teach all of
mankind to dwell together as
brothers and sisters or run
the risk of expulsion from
the Kingdom of God for their
lack of love. Our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, will
be pleased with us and
return to the earth to
commence His rule and reign.
He will make certain that
there is no evil or
defilement anywhere on the
face of the earth. He will
banish Satan and all of his
minions to the bottomless
pit and cast all wrongdoers
into the unquenchable lake
of fire. We will have total
safety and security in His
awesome presence. He will
eliminate all disease and
death and give us new,
glorious, resurrection
bodies that live forever.
There will be health and
longevity, peace and
prosperity, joy and freedom
for all the righteous.
We will share in Christ's
very own honor and glory and
even judge both men and
angels, just as He does. He
will appoint us kings and
priests of God, so that we
can rule and reign with Him
over all the nations of the
world. Our heavenly Father
will boast of us to all
creation as His very own
sons and daughters, and we
will be given the heathen
and the uttermost parts of
the earth as an eternal
inheritance. The Lord will
take an active interest in
all the details of our
personal lives.
Vessels of Honor
2Timothy 2:19-21
“Nevertheless the foundation
of God standeth sure, having
this seal, The Lord knoweth
them that are his. And, Let
every one that nameth the
name of Christ depart from
iniquity. But in a great
house there are not only
vessels of gold and of
silver, but also of wood and
of earth; and some to
honour, and some to
dishonour. If a man
therefore purge himself from
these, he shall be a vessel
unto honour, sanctified, and
meet for the master's use,
[and] prepared unto every
good work.”
We were formed in the very
image and likeness of
almighty God Himself and
predestined to greatness.
He knows who we are and He
is ardent in His desire to
see us succeed in all that
we do. If we cooperate with
His purging fire and allow
Him full access to our
lives, we will be sanctified
to the point that we are
indeed holy and perfect,
just as God is holy and
perfect.
The Lord has a divine
destiny in mind for each of
us. We are His very own
sons and daughters and He
will be glorified in us in
the critical days to come.
We will change the fate of
all mankind and take back
the entire earth for the
Kingdom of God. Nothing
will be impossible to us
because the Lord's favor and
grace will accompany us in
all that we do on His
behalf.
His very own power and
authority will be imparted
to us to discharge all of
our duties. We will
intercede for the whole
human race and confront all
wickedness that we see. We
will preach the Gospel and
baptize others in Jesus'
name. We will heal the sick
and cast out demons that
hold men in bondage to sin
and evil.
We will even raise the dead
back to life once again.
1Thessalonians 4:4 “That
every one of you should know
how to possess his vessel in
sanctification and honour;”
We are a special people that
have been created for a time
such as this. We will
implement the Lord's eternal
redemption plan for all of
mankind. We must be above
and beyond reproach in all
that we think, say and do.
Everyone will be looking to
us for godly example and
instruction in
righteousness. We will have
to be cleansed of all
filthiness of the flesh and
selfishness of our souls.
The Lord will assist us in
the sanctification process
if we cooperate with all
that He asks of us. He will
groom and prepare us to act
on His behalf in serving Him
and His people. We will be
given an anointing much like
Jesus Christ Himself had
when He walked the earth.
It will be extremely
important for us to remain
loving and obedient at all
times and under all
circumstances we face.
We are the Body of Christ
Himself on the earth, and we
will resume His ministry
where He left off. We
cannot permit strife and
division to separate us from
one another. The Lord
insists that there be peace
and unity among us, so that
we can optimally represent
Him to others. We must
resolve all our differences
and work together to
complete His plans; the fate
of the entire world rests
with us.
2Corinthians 4:7 “But we
have this treasure in
earthen vessels, that the
excellency of the power may
be of God, and not of us.”
We cannot escape our divine
destinies. The Lord has
sought us out and redeemed
us for a very special
purpose. We are vessels of
honor, cleansed and purged
for His use in these last
days. He will imbue us with
divine power and authority
to act in His stead. We
will revolutionize the whole
world and prepare the hearts
of all mankind to receive
Jesus Christ as their King.
If we are totally
sanctified, we will be the
perfect ambassadors for the
Kingdom of God. We will
challenge all world
governments to align with
godly principles of fairness
and justice for all. We
will eliminate all wars,
violence and conflict off
the face of the earth.
Poverty and lack will no
longer plague mankind; we
will convince all men to
share what they have with
others.
We will speak to all of
creation and make certain
that it is restored to its
original peace, order and
stability. There will be no
more natural disasters that
plague mankind and cause
devastation and
destruction. The climate
will be regulated until it
is temperate and
predictable. All forms of
pollution will be reversed.
The plants and animals will
be in harmony with one
another.
The fate of the entire
planet will be altered if we
take our sacred charge
seriously. We will assist
the Lord in bringing heaven
itself to the earth realm,
as He so earnestly desires.
He will gather the faithful
to Himself for all of
eternity, and we will dwell
in His presence in a literal
paradise. We will enjoy
peace and prosperity, health
and longevity, joy and
freedom forever.
Exodus 30:29 “And thou shalt
sanctify them, that they may
be most holy: whatsoever
toucheth them shall be
holy”
If we are faithful to
cleanse ourselves of all
defilement and worldly lusts
in the critical days ahead,
the Lord can empower us to
serve Him in ways that we
have only imagined were
possible. We will be
appointed as kings and
priests of almighty God to
serve Him and His people in
this world and in the
everlasting Kingdom to
come. All divine power and
authority will be available
to us.
However, we cannot be slack
in anything that we think,
say and do. Both God and
man will be scrutinizing us
to see if we live up to holy
standards of performance.
We will have to take our
love walk and obedience to a
brand new level. It will be
imperative that we act just
as Jesus Christ did on this
earth. He is our role model
for righteousness and we
should always imitate His
laid down life.
We are the actual Body of
Christ on this earth - His
very own hands, feet and
voice. We represent Him as
our Lord and Savior in
everything that we do. We
should permit the Lord to
direct and guide us, so that
we can discharge all of our
duties to perfection. We
will lead others by example
and make the gift of eternal
life available to every man,
woman and child in every
nation of the world.
The fate of all mankind will
be positively impacted
through our efforts. We
will intercede for others on
a regular basis and
encourage them to seek the
Lord and all of His promises
for righteousness. We will
urge all those we meet to
repent of all their sins and
believe in Jesus Christ and
all that He did for us. We
will overcome all evil with
good and release others from
bondage to sin and evil.
