Dedication:
Hebrews 12:25-29 “See that
ye refuse not him that
speaketh. For if they
escaped not who refused him
that spake on earth, much
more [shall not] we
[escape], if we turn away
from him that [speaketh]
from heaven: Whose voice
then shook the earth: but
now he hath promised,
saying, Yet once more I
shake not the earth only,
but also heaven. And this
[word], Yet once more,
signifieth the removing of
those things that are
shaken, as of things that
are made, that those things
which cannot be shaken may
remain. Wherefore we
receiving a kingdom which
cannot be moved, let us have
grace, whereby we may serve
God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear:
For our God [is] a consuming
fire.”
We must submit to the
purging fire of almighty God
before we can enter into the
Kingdom of God!
Preface:
Isaiah 13:9 “Behold, the day
of the LORD cometh, cruel
both with wrath and fierce
anger, to lay the land
desolate: and he shall
destroy the sinners thereof
out of it.”
It is very easy to be lulled
into a false sense of
security. This world,
as we know it, has existed
for ages, and we assume that
it will endure for all time.
However, sin and wickedness
have overtaken us now.
Things cannot continue as
they have been; time is
running out for the human
race. Almighty God
will soon intervene in our
affairs and make His
presence known, before we
destroy one another and the
earth itself.
The Lord is disappointed
with man. We have
strayed far from His
original plans for us.
We have turned our backs on
Him and we alienate one
another. Our love has
grown cold and we have
succumbed to all sorts of
depravity. We are
greedy, covetous and worship
the creation rather than our
Creator. We have no
moral integrity or spiritual
maturity. Sin and
darkness threaten to
overtake us if we don't
change our ways.
We have had more than
adequate warning. We
are approaching the
consummation of all things,
and we face an impending
judgment for all of our
works in the flesh.
Those of us who have obeyed
our God and walked according
to His ways will be gathered
into His everlasting
Kingdom. However,
those who are evil, stubborn
and rebellious will be
banished to the eternal lake
of fire to suffer never
ending punishment.
Acts 8:22 “Repent therefore
of this thy wickedness, and
pray God, if perhaps the
thought of thine heart may
be forgiven thee.”
Our God takes no pleasure in
the destruction of any of
His children, but the wages
for sin are death. We
cannot avoid permanent
punishment, if we are
deliberately evil and
unrepentant. We must
turn from our wicked ways
and ask for His forgiveness.
If we are sincere, the Lord
will be merciful and
compassionate to us and
provide us with a full
pardon, to include eternal
salvation through His Son,
Jesus Christ.
Each of us must repent of
our sins and turn back to
the Lord before it is too
late. He is not a God
of compromise. We
cannot deliberately defy Him
or disobey any of His
commandments. He has
perfect moral standards for
us and we cannot deviate
from them and hope to be
spared. We must
appropriate the
righteousness that comes
only through a sincere faith
in His beloved Son and all
that He did for us.
All of us have sinned and
fallen short of the glory of
God. We need
redemption through the
merits of Jesus' Blood to be
able to enter into His
awesome presence. Our
sanctification should be of
the utmost importance to us.
We must crucify our flesh
and subdue our souls if we
wish to spend all of
eternity with God. By
faith, we can indeed be made
holy and perfect, just as
God Himself is holy and
perfect.
John 3:36 “He that believeth
on the Son hath everlasting
life: and he that believeth
not the Son shall not see
life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.”
This world will soon fade
away and nothing will be
left of the wickedness that
we once knew. The Lord
will mercifully blot it from
our memories. We
should accept Jesus Christ
as our Lord and Savior and
be baptized in His name, so
that we can inherit eternal
life and all of its many
benefits. Our minds
will then be renewed in the
truth and our behavior will
be transformed until it
becomes righteous and godly.
We can also ask for and
receive the baptism in the
Holy Spirit of God, so that
our lives are forever
changed. We will
develop attributes like
those of God Himself and
eventually become loving,
peaceful and joyous.
Goodness and gentleness will
overtake us and we will
embrace our divine
destinies. We will
willingly and
enthusiastically serve the
Lord and His people with all
meekness, temperance and
longsuffering.
The Gospel must be preached
throughout the entire world,
so that no one who is
sincere will be left behind.
We will persuade everyone we
meet to repent of all their
sins and be born again in
their spirits. Many
will be set free in the
truth and appropriate the
righteousness of Jesus
Christ Himself. Death
will no longer reign over
them. They will be
translated out of the
kingdom of darkness into the
light for all time.
Ephesians 5:15-17 “See then
that ye walk circumspectly,
not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because
the days are evil. Wherefore
be ye not unwise, but
understanding what the will
of the Lord [is].”
No one is too far gone or so
incorrigible that the Blood
of Jesus Christ cannot
redeem him from the wrath of
God that is coming on all of
the earth. It is
possible for every man,
woman and child to repent of
all their sins and turn
towards the Lord for
forgiveness. We can
change our fate very easily
if we are open to salvation.
There is no reason why any
of us should be eternally
condemned.
If we choose to be born
again in our spirits, walk
in love and be obedient, we
will live forever in the
presence of almighty God
Himself. Very soon now
heaven will be ushered into
the earth realm in His
everlasting Kingdom.
There will be no more pain
and suffering, no wickedness
or evil, no disease and
death. We will learn
to dwell as brothers and
sisters in love, peace and
unity.
The Lord will take vengeance
on all of our enemies and
protect us from all harm.
He will provide all our
needs in abundance, even
before we ask Him. If
we have been faithful to
serve Him and His people, we
will share in Christ's very
own honor and glory.
We will judge both men and
angels; be appointed kings
and priests; and rule and
reign with Jesus Christ over
all nations of the world.
Introduction:
Deuteronomy 4:24 “For the
LORD thy God [is] a
consuming fire, [even] a
jealous God.”
Our God is a jealous God; He
doesn't want us to put
anyone or anything before
Him. We are the center
of His attention and He
insists on having first
place in our lives. If
we have misplaced priorities
or purposely reject Him, we
will eventually incur His
anger and punishment.
Even though He is infinitely
patient with us, the Lord
will not tolerate willful
disobedience on our part.
None of us is righteous in
our own strength. We
all miss the mark from time
to time and need redemption
by the Blood of our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ.
If we repent of all our
sins, confess Him before God
and man and are baptized in
His name, we will receive
the gift of eternal life.
However, if we are stubborn
and rebellious, we will
perish in our own ignorance
and rebellion.
There is no way that any of
us can be in right standing
with God unless we are born
again in our spirit man.
He is all holy and if we
desire fellowship with Him,
we must purge and cleanse
ourselves. We should
follow all His commandments
and walk in love at all
times. We must also
cooperate with His perfect
will for our lives and
present our bodies as living
sacrifices to Him.
Leviticus 20:7-8 “Sanctify
yourselves therefore, and be
ye holy: for I [am] the LORD
your God. And ye shall keep
my statutes, and do them: I
[am] the LORD which sanctify
you.”
As we grow and mature in the
deep things of God, we will
be strengthened in our
spirits and sin will no
longer have a strong hold on
us. If we should ever
make mistakes, we always
have the gift of grace
available to us. If we
repent from the heart and
renounce all our sin, the
Lord is ever faithful to
forgive us and restore our
righteousness as it was
before.
We should crucify our flesh
and forego all of our
selfish soul ambitions.
We have been bought with a
dear price - the very Blood
of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. We
should imitate His laid down
life and resume His ministry
where He left off. We
have divine destinies to
fulfill in the days that lie
ahead and we cannot be lax
in serving our God or His
people.
If we sanctify ourselves and
consecrate our lives to the
Lord, He will imbue us with
His very own power and
authority to act on His
behalf. We will set
matters straight in this
world and warn all mankind
of the fiery judgment that
will soon come on all of us.
We will offer others hope
for their future, if they
repent and receive Jesus
Christ as their Lord and
Savior.
2Peter 2:9 “The Lord knoweth
how to deliver the godly out
of temptations, and to
reserve the unjust unto the
day of judgment to be
punished:”
The days are drawing short
and there is darkness and
deception all around us.
We must be godly role models
to others and share our
faith as the Lord arranges
our contacts. The
Gospel of the Kingdom of God
must be preached to every
man, woman and child in
every nation of the world.
No one should perish for
lack of knowledge in the
truth. Salvation must
be made available to all
those who are receptive to
it.
The Lord loves all of
mankind with a deep abiding
love, but He has no
tolerance for deliberate
rebellion of any kind.
If we have strayed from the
path of righteousness, we
run the risk of incurring
His anger and suffering
serious repercussions.
Very soon now, He will
sovereignly move to purge
the earth of all that is
wicked and evil. He is
a just God and He will bring
a fair and equitable
judgment on every one of us.
All of the ungodly will be
destroyed in the wrath of
almighty God. Christ
will banish them to the
eternal lake of fire where
there will be wailing and
gnashing of teeth. He
will rid the world of all
wars, violence and conflict.
There will be no more greed
and covetousness permitted.
He will level all playing
fields and abolish social
injustice. All men
will be treated with
fairness, dignity and
respect, as the Lord
desires.
We should repent from the
heart and turn towards our
Creator. He wants to
bless us and provide for all
our needs in abundance.
It is His heart's desire to
nurture and protect us from
all harm. There is no
good thing that He will ever
withhold from those who walk
in His ways and are obedient
to all of His commandments.
He will gather those who are
righteous to Himself for all
of eternity in the
everlasting Kingdom of God.
Numbers 23:19 “God [is] not
a man, that he should lie;
neither the son of man, that
he should repent: hath he
said, and shall he not do
[it]? or hath he spoken, and
shall he not make it good?”
The Lord never lies; He is
always true to His Word.
His Son, Jesus Christ, will
soon return to us and there
will be no more second
chances available. He
will render judgment on all
of mankind and drive out the
wicked from among us.
Those who are righteous will
shine with the light of His
glory and dwell in His
presence in the everlasting
Kingdom of God.
We will have peace and
prosperity, health and
longevity, safety and
security, joy and freedom
for all time. The Lord
will take vengeance on all
of our enemies and restore
everything that has been
taken from us. We will
be given new, resurrection
bodies that are impervious
to disease and death.
We will live forever in a
veritable paradise on this
earth, as He promised.
The Lord will provide all of
our needs in abundance, even
before we ask Him. We
will worship Him in Spirit
and in truth and celebrate
all of His sabbaths and
feast days. We are His
sons and daughters and He
will be the center of our
attention, as He desires.
There will never be a
separation between God and
man ever again; we will be
reunited for all eternity.
