HOLY HEAVEN AWAITS YOU
FOCUS ON YOUR HEAVENLY HAVEN
Life can appear to become so mundane day after day of doing the same routine.
We oft times feel like what's the point of even getting out of bed?
You know exactly what's going to happen ... When its going to
happen ... What the high points and even low points of your day
will be.
Randomly on the weekends you might get a break in your
routine, but are so rundown by the week you can hardly enjoy
it. Then you spend most of Sunday (possibly your day off)
dreading that Monday is the next day.We spend so much of our life dwelling on the bad things,
that we lose sight of what IS to come! What is promised to us!
HEAVEN!
Just like counting down hours until your work shift end ...
Counting down days until the weekend comes ... Counting down
months until summer is here.
Why not count down the days until we can go Home to Heaven? Doesn't it make the time go by faster when we are able to
look FORWARD to something?!
Doesn't it help the little bad
things that happen become so futile because you KNOW what is
coming?

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things
are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if
there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things. |
Some
suggestions to help remind you of the Heavenly Hope that you now
have learned about:
Start marking days off your calendar (with a marker or pull
post its off each day) ... If you already do that ... This time,
do it with a purpose ... Remember that each day is ONE day
closer to Heaven.
Write verses of hope about Heaven and place around you.
Put them on your bathroom mirror so it's the first thing you
think about in the morning.
Place them on your desk at work
to keep your mind set on heavenly things.
Print/draw a picture of heaven and frame it somewhere.
Sometimes SEEING a glimpse of what our home will be like can
encourage us to make it one more day.
Listen to music that uplifts and encourages you to Hope for
the future instead of living in the past.
Remember ... Focus on the things AHEAD of us, and forget the
things in our past.

Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to be apprehended: but
this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and
reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high
calling of God in Christ Jesus. |
Having
and obtaining the Heavenly HOPE will guarantee us Eternal
Life forever.
Let's see what Paul recommends us to do while we wait for
Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-23
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which
labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and
admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love
for their work's sake. And be at peace among
yourselves. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them
that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support
the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none
render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow
that which is good, both among yourselves, and to
all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In
every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the
Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things;
hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all
appearance of evil. And the very God of peace
sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole
spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
HOLY HEAVEN WARNING
HEAVENLY HAVEN CONCERN
Paul suggested many good things to keep us busy and keep us
spirited until our time to go Home is here.
When we stay BUSY without idle time, time will seem to go
faster. Its when we are bored with too much time that our
minds wander ... Our thoughts bring us down spiritually ... We
lose grasp of our Heavenly Hope.
We turn on the TV instead
and watch the gossip that surrounds us. We look at worldly
magazines. We go out to find fulfillment at parties or bars.
Time, thoughts, and energy that COULD be spent getting to
know our Heavenly Father and strengthening our Heavenly Hope
is now spent and wasted in the world.

Romans 8:24-25
FOR WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE: but hope that is seen is
not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope
for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we
with patience wait for it. |
How
wonderful to know by God's Grace we are freed from our sin.
We CAN go to Heaven IF we chose.
It comes down to a choice.
OUR choice.
Will we chose to hold onto the Heavenly Hope we
learned how to have?
HEAVEN
HERE I COME PATIENCE AND HEAVEN
HERE I COME PROCEDURE
So, let's continue to HOPE, be patient during our trials, and
never stop praying.

Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope; patient in TRIBULATION;
continuing instant in prayer ... |
Remember ... Eyes on the prize.

1 Corinthians 9:24
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all,
but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may
obtain. |
It's
just that easy.
Hard
to believe, huh?
Someday soon we will become Angels of God.
Someday soon we will leave in peace, joy, and freedom
FOREVER.
Someday soon our Heavenly Hope will become REALITY.
What are you going to do first when you arrive in Heaven?
Run fast towards Jesus?
Throw your arms around His neck?
Ask him something?
Bow before Him?
Place your crowns and rewards at His feet?
Stare in His eyes?
Sing with the angels?
Swim in the streams of life?
Walk on the paths of gold?
Climb the Tree of Life?
Find your loved ones that have been waiting?
Kneel at the throne of God?
Fall on your face in reverence?
Lay in the grass and enjoy the feeling of freedom, peace and
joy as it falls over you?
HOLY HEAVEN SUMMARY
HEAVENLY HAVEN CONCLUSION
There is so much to look forward to. So much our human minds
can not even begin to fathom just how awesome our Heavenly
Home will be. We will not be chained anymore by the routine
of our day, the worries of our yesterdays, the anxieties of
our tomorrows.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away. |
Nothing but beauty.
Nothing but God.
Nothing can come in between you and Him anymore.
You
are there forever and ever with Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-10
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on
the breastplate of faith and love; and for an
helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not
appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by
our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that,
whether we wake or sleep, we should live together
with him. |
Hold
tight to that Heavenly Hope that you have now.

2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if our earthly house of this
tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of
God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens. |
