If you are following the Tell me the story of Jesus path, we will pick up where we left off now in the Christian Faith Bible voyage ... Jesus went into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, and He
went into a house wanting nobody to know where He was, but He couldn't
be hid.
Now there was a certain woman of Canaan whose young
daughter had an unclean spirit. She heard about Jesus and came and
cried to Him, Have mercy on me, O Lord, son of David; my daughter is
troubled terribly with a devil. But Jesus didn't say a word to her.
Remember that it was still the time of the Jewish people, it was not
yet the
Time Of The Gentiles and she
wasn't Jewish. Now, you may think that Jesus wasn’t very compassionate
at first with this woman, but the time of the Jewish people was
nearing it’s end, and He was sent to save them. Jesus' disciples said
to Him, Send her away; she's been crying to us too. Jesus said, I'm
only sent for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
The woman fell at His feet and said, Lord, help me.
But He answered, Let the children (the house of Israel) first be
filled. It isn't right to take the children's bread, and throw it to
the dogs. The woman said, Yes, Lord, but the dogs under the table eat
the crumbs that fall from the children's table. (Here is the answer to the what is Christian Faith in God question) Then Jesus said to her, O woman, you have great faith, and because of this, the devil is
gone out of your daughter. Her daughter was healed from that very
hour.
Likewise, we are now living in the time of the
Gentiles, and if a Jewish person becomes a believer during this time,
as this woman did, they will be saved.
As we proceed with the Christian Faith Bible quest looking for answers to the question many gentiles want to know which is, what is Christian Faith in God compared to, I want to share a little reminder here, that you may have to
ask the Lord for something in your prayers more than once, just like
the woman in this story persisted. Don't forget that we want things
now, but God's perspective is eternity. He knows the right time for
everything. Patience is indeed a virtue. David wrote in
Psalms 37:34, Wait on the Lord,
and keep His way, and He shall exalt thee to inherit the land ...
There may be other things that He feels need to be done first, and
that may be one reason for a prayer taking longer than we'd like, for
it to be answered.
Wait on the Lord, He may be moving everything into
it's proper place so that the blessing that you ask for is the best
thing for you. His timing is perfect, not ours. We don't see the full
picture like He does. The things we think are important, sometimes
don't really amount to much, but He created each of us with a specific
purpose, so maybe, just maybe, He's got an even better plan than the
one you're praying for! Don't be impatient, and you'll see how He
knows just the right moment . . . for everything. It requires the Christian Faith Bible magic that we have been speaking of.
Jesus left the coasts of Tyre and Sidon and went to
the sea of Galilee. A deaf man was brought to Him, who also had a
speech impediment, and they asked Jesus to put His hand on him. Jesus
took the man aside from the crowd and put His fingers into the man's
ears, and He spit and touched his tongue. He looked up to Heaven and
said Ephphatha, which means, Be opened. Immediately the man could hear
and he was able to speak plainly. That is the Christian Faith Bible power.
Jesus told them not to tell anyone but the more He
told people this, the bigger deal people made out of it. Everyone was
astonished beyond measure saying, He does everything well. He makes
both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak. It's no wonder thousands
followed Him wherever He went and why you should choose to follow Him now.
The Christian Faith is something that nobody can take from you. What is Christian Faith in God? It is the road to Paradise and then Heaven forever. It is Everything !!!
