CHRISTIAN
STATEMENT OF FAITH
There is ONE God,
yet expressed in a Spiritual Trinity
known to us as the Father,
Jesus, and
Holy Spirit
which is clearly revealed in (1 John 5:7) ... Jesus is the
Word of God as
revealed in (John 1:1 and John 1:14) ... He is also the
Son of God as He was born of a
virgin as foretold in Bible Prophecy (Isaiah 7:14) and revealed to Mary by an
Angel.
Jesus, being part of the Trinity is a part of God.
Jesus came to earth to die for our sins. He was crucified, and while on
the Cross, spoke where He proved yet again that He WAS the awaited Messiah
when He said My God, My God why
have you Forsaken me. He was quoting
scripture which predicted they would do these very acts to the Lord that
they were doing at that time. This is called Prophecy.
He died after being hung on a Cross for six hours. At the time of His
death, He was taken to
Abraham's Bosom where He stayed for three days and three nights and
was resurrected on a SON-derful Sunday (Easter) Morning.
He was seen forty days
(Acts 1:3) on earth before ascending to Heaven (Acts 1:10)
... His followers continued spreading the Gospel and
paid a dear price, even unto death, as revealed in the
New Testament.
The New Testament is actually the result of a
New Covenant that God made
with mankind in an attempt to rescue His children from sin and
death. Jesus was sinless and was a
Sacrifice for
mankind's sins which originated from the
Original Sin
... The Blood of Jesus
cleanses away our sin when we repent of our sins and accept the
TRUTH by
BELIEVING in JESUS. This is called
GRACE ...
Therefore Faith is the primary
ingredient, yet one should not assume that you are guaranteed
Salvation simply by belief in
Jesus as we must overcome the Trials and
Tribulation that we will
encounter. We will be tempted and hounded by
your adversary the
devil and the
evil spirits and
issues such as loneliness,
divorce,
anger,
finances,
gossip,
depression,
fear of death,
lost love,
over weight, etc. ... This
is known as
Spiritual Warfare. This continual battle oft times leaves us battered
and bruised in mind and heart and we cry out ...
Why God and
Who Am I?
The TRUTH is ... We
will fall down but we
must get up, ask forgiveness
while forgiving all others and carry on.
Prayer and
fasting are also essential
ingredients in the
Christian Walk. We fight the good fight
of FAITH. We must defend
our Faith.
Jesus will return for His bride on a day that nobody knows
but we are to watch for the Signs which were
prophesied of His Return as to be prepared.
This will occur during the
End Times. Many
will be taken up in what Christians call the
Rapture but there
will be many that are Left
Behind.
Some will be brought through fire, some will die for the cause,
some will reach and teach others of the TRUTH of Jesus and some will replenish the
Earth after the End Times are over. (Psalms 37:11 -
Matthew 5:5)
The End Times will
have a three and a half year time period of
false peace and then another
three and a half year time period where an evil world ruler will
emerge and control all. His title is
Antichrist and he will portray himself to be the
long awaited Messiah. He will have a sidekick known as the
False Prophet. There will be
Two Witnesses
which will share TRUTH with others on earth during this three and a half
year time period and many will come to believe.
At the completion
of the End Times there will be a great war between those who oppose God.
Jesus will come with His angels to war against them. This battle is known
as Armageddon.
Jesus will conquer them with the Word of TRUTH. At which time the great deceiver Satan
is thrown into
hell for the 1000 years and his protégé known as Antichrist will be
thrown into the Lake of Fire to be tormented forever.
This will bring in a
Millennium (1000
years) of Peace. When the thousand years of Peace are
over ... There will be a
Great
White Throne Judgment followed by the creation of a
New Heaven and New Earth.
IN SHORT ... OUR CHRISTIAN STATEMENT OF FAITH IS:
JESUS IS THE WAY ... FOLLOW HIM TO BE SAVED.
What we believe in, is ...
GOD'S
GRACE
Through our Lord Jesus
Christ
He died for us, was resurrected
and is coming back for us.
